Good starter drone for a kid .
Decent toy started drone,Pros:The controller is nice and has a usable screen, buttons and feedback is spot on.Battery life of the controller seems ok . It will last several times longer than the drone battery.Packaging was good, comes with 2 batteries, the drone, the controller, couple usb charging cables, spare blades and the drone in a useable carry case as well as a micro SS card and an adapter to plug into a USB a port.It works ! As a toy to teach kids the basics before bumping up to a more expensive unit. This one cost $75, but could shop around and have one for about $50.Its crashed a few times into concrete walls and furniture inside. Not at high speed or anything , but has survived without damage. That’s a huge plus as the components don’t really feel like it can take an impact.Cons:Super short battery life on the drone. Expect 5 minutes of flying time in still air if that before it starts beeping at you. Less if you’re outside.Range is pretty short. This is WiFi controlled , and the signal gets blocked easily. Don’t expect to be out of the line of sight .. kinda defeats the purpose of the screen on the controller to an extent..Two different battery cables : the remote uses the new USB c and the battery that powers the drone uses USB – micro B. Both cables have USB A ends and the charging block is not included.Overall quality of components are as expected – don’t expect high quality materials or feel or performance at this price point.In summary , it’s a good starter drone for kids, has all the functions of a higher end unit, it’s survived a few drops but time will tell if it’s durable (I think it might not survive a crash with any speed or height). For an adult getting a first drone, it’s worth a shot, but would recommend spending a little more and get a unit with a little more range and flying time.

Wanted this to work out. The controls were hokey and the instructions didn’t help much. Flight times were about 10 minutes in the house. I couldn’t imagine outside with any wind. With just the A/C blowing it couldn’t hold it’s position had lots of drift. The batterys are super light and took about 10 minutes to charge. First signs battery capacity might be a little light. The drone itself is very light and motors are a bit under powered.I was hoping for decent flight times. Video connectivity tranmission was very laggy and a very narrow field of view. I was hoping for more of an adult version. At this price point its probably has a little better outdoors abilities than the micro drones. For this to say it has object avoidance couldn’t be true. While it does function and fly it probably reserved for children under 10 but no at this price in the $40 range is more appropriate.
