Q: Does this work with Peloton?
A: Yes — it connects to Peloton bikes and the Peloton app via Bluetooth. It also works with Wahoo, Strava, Zwift, Garmin Connect, Apple Health, and Google Fit. Dual Bluetooth and ANT+ means it can broadcast to your Peloton and another device simultaneously without signal conflicts.
Q: Is this accurate for heart rate zones?
A: The optical sensor provides precise heart rate zone tracking for both steady-state cardio and high-intensity intervals. Unlike some monitors that lose accuracy after a few months, this sensor maintains consistent precision over extended use through advanced contact optimization.
Q: How does it compare to the Polar Verity Sense?
A: It offers the same core technology — dual Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, optical heart rate sensing, multi-device pairing, and waterproof construction — at $59.99 instead of $95+. It also adds auto-wear detection so it powers on automatically when you put it on, and it’s lighter weight for a more comfortable fit.
Q: Does it connect to multiple devices at the same time?
A: Yes, it connects to up to 3 devices simultaneously. You can broadcast to your cycling computer, phone app, and smartwatch all at once without dropping connection to any of them.
Q: Is it comfortable for long workouts?
A: The ultralight design with a medical-grade silicone strap is built specifically for extended wear. It sits flush against your arm without bouncing or sliding during running, cycling, or HIIT. Many athletes switch to armbands specifically because chest straps cause chafing during long sessions — this eliminates that entirely.
Q: Will it stay connected during my workout?
A: Auto-wear detection and dual-band Bluetooth 5.0 + ANT+ are specifically designed to maintain stable connections throughout your workout. No mid-session dropouts, no re-pairing needed.
Q: Is it waterproof for swimming?
A: Yes, it’s waterproof and suitable for pool swimming, open water, and sweat-heavy workouts.
Q: Why is it so much cheaper than Polar?
A: We focused engineering investment on the technology that matters — sensor accuracy, connection stability, and build quality — without the premium brand markup. The specs are comparable; the price reflects efficiency, not compromise.

AUTO-WEAR DETECTION — JUST PUT IT ON AND GO: Intelligent sensors detect when the armband touches your skin and automatically activate. No power buttons, no pairing rituals, no wasted warm-up minutes. Connects to up to 3 devices at once via dual Bluetooth ANT+ so your data flows everywhere it needs to without interruption.
ACCURATE HEART RATE YOU CAN ACTUALLY TRUST: Advanced optical sensor technology delivers consistent, precise heart rate measurement workout after workout — not just out of the box, but months down the road. Whether you’re in Zone 2 recovery or pushing max effort intervals, you get reliable data that doesn’t drift or spike randomly.
PREMIUM TECHNOLOGY AT AN HONEST PRICE: Why pay $95+ for the same dual-band Bluetooth ANT+ connectivity, optical heart rate sensing, and multi-device pairing? You get professional-grade accuracy and build quality at honest pricing — engineered for serious athletes who’d rather invest in training than overpay for a brand name.
SO LIGHT YOU FORGET IT’S THERE: Ultralight design with a soft-touch, medical-grade silicone strap sits flush against your arm without bouncing, pinching, or sliding during high-intensity movement. Comfortable enough for marathon training sessions and all-day wear without the chest strap irritation that drives athletes to armbands in the first place.
WORKS WITH EVERYTHING YOU USE: Compatible with Peloton, Wahoo, Strava, Zwift, Garmin Connect, Apple Health, Google Fit, Polar Beat, and DDP Yoga. Pairs seamlessly with cycling computers, smartwatches, gym equipment, and fitness apps — no proprietary ecosystem lock-in.

Works well with the Peloton treadmill with some caveats.
The Powr Labs Rechargeable Heart Rate Armband works well with my Peloton treadmill. I like that it automatically turns on when you put it on and turns off when you remove it. No buttons to push. However, some quick notes. First, if the armband does not link via bluetooth to your device, and you have your cell phone (in my case my iPhone) near you, you will need to remember to turn off bluetooth on your other device for the armband to link to your exercise equipment. Also, in order for the armband to stay active and not auto-turn off, it must be continually kept in contact with the skin on your arm. I found that if the armband moves so contact with my arm is lost, the armband will turn off during exercise. One final minor nit. Battery life seems to be limited. My previous heart rate monitor, a Wahoo, could last me 10-12 days on a single charge. The Powr Labs unit only seems to last 3-4 days. Overall, I have so far found the Powr Labs armband to be reliable and accurate during my workouts.

    Fantastic heart rate monitor
Update: I still love this arm heart monitor but you must charge the battery every 2 weeks (used daily for 1 hour) even when it says it still has plenty (over 50%) or it will lose the bluetooth connection and will NOT reconnect! Once charged, it works great.I had problems with the Heartool app as I am 70 years old and the zone heart rate values were WAY off. I could not get it to change. Then I tried while wearing the armband and I was easily able to change them to match my age. This arm band works great and connected to my iphone without any problems. I mainly use a recumbent bike and kettlebell/weights/resistance bands so I can easily monitor my heart rate through the app while I’m exercising. The app has all my heart rate info by date and total minutes then breaks it down by zones. It works great for me. I haven’t tried any other apps with it. If you are a senior and working out at home, you will love this app. Very reasonable price compared to several others I considered. I love it!

A terrific option to those awkward feeling chest straps.
Love that it turns on when you put it on and turns off when you take it off. Battery life seems to be very good. Very comfortable to wear.

    Ok, but not good enough
I bought this as a secondary heart rate monitor, in addition to my Garmin watch. Pros:It was comfortable to walear on my forearm and bicepSeemed to be accurate when comparing to my watchEasy to connect to my watchInexpensive compared to other optionsConsWould not stay synced with my watch for more than a couple minutes. I tried both ant+ and Bluetooth connectivityHas no dedicated appUltimately, I returned this item. If it doesn’t stay synced with my watch it was not worth keeping.

    Good price;works OK
The device is priced very competitively. It arrived on time and was generally pretty easy to set up. You have to allow it to poll other bluetooth devices when prompted which I generally do not. So I couldn’t not get it to bind to the app I downloaded. I had to uninstall the app and start over. Then I got it to bind. The app is easy to use. My biggest issue is accuracy. Most of the time it is on target. But occasionally when I put it on, it reads very high and erratic. I have to take it off, wait a few minutes and then try again. I guess you get what you pay for.

Accurate and Comfortable, but Battery Reliability Is a Concern. See Updates !
Powr Labs Rechargeable Heart Rate ArmbandWe use heart rate monitors like this fairly often, and this one initially seemed very convenient and accurate. The unit is rechargeable and uses a small magnetic charger that attaches to the back of the sensor, which is simple and easy to use.The sensor connected quickly to the Polar Beat app. One thing I noticed is that it tends to connect more reliably when only one device is paired in the app. If another device is already paired and listed in Polar Beat, it may have trouble connecting. It’s something to keep in mind when setting it up.We received the armband on a Friday and charged it for about 45 minutes. After pairing it with the Polar app, the readings appeared accurate when compared with another device and manual timing. Everything looked good, and we were glad to see it working well.********* Update:However, after using it each evening for several days, the battery was completely dead without any red / green warning LED flashes, and the app still showed the battery as being okay. The product claims up to 70 hours of use with auto shutoff, so this was unexpected. I tried charging it again, but no lights came on and the unit would not respond at all.********Another Update:After being unresponsive for a couple of days, the monitor suddenly started working again. That was good to see, but the unpredictability is the reason I removed a couple of stars. When it does work, it performs very well and would easily be a 5-star product. It connects quickly and stays connected during use, which I really like. I genuinely wanted this monitor to work out.Unfortunately, the reliability just isn’t there yet. Having it stop functioning after only a short time makes it hard to trust long term. If the consistency improves, this could be an excellent product.I will add that the Powr Labs customer service team responded to requests for suggestions to get it back on track and working again.***********Another Better Update:I’ve been using this monitor for over a month now every evening and a few times during the day for workouts and it’s been pretty reliable. I think the earlier issues are worked out and it seems very reliable now. Again, customer service responded quickly to check out any problems I had earlier.
