Everything you could want in a beginner camera!
I am going to break this review into 2 main sections: 1) A refurbished camera and same day delivery 2) The camera itself.1) Simply put the Camera appears to be brand new. I could not find the slightest bit of wear on it whatsoever. Understand that this doesn’t mean that you will get the same product. Each one is different. But the one I got is spot on and looks like it has never been used. The second part of this is that it qualified for same-day delivery, which was a first for us. Understand that when you get same-day delivery they have until 9 pm to deliver it. Mine was delivered at 745pm. Now this was fine and it cost neothing extra for us to do it as we are prime members. Mostly a convience thing and was pretty neat that I ordered it at 8 in the morning and got it less than 12 hours later.2) The Camera itself. I read some other reviews about it coming just thrown in a box. Mine was neatly wrapped in bubble wrap…and I mean a lot of bubble wrap. All of the components were in working order. Again the Body and lense look like they have never been used. The strap was still in factory packaging as was the battery and charger. Having already shot a few hundred photos with it, I simply love it. I have been out of the photography world long enough that the last time I was active in it I developed my own photos in a dark room. With the advances to DSLR Tech I wanted to get back into the game, mostly for fun. After a lot of research, realised that buying the latest and greatest gee-whiz camera wasn’t going to be the route I wanted to take. Needless to say while searching I found this. It was a good deal and came with everything needed to take photos out of the box. It really has a lot of features that are wonderful to bridge the gap between begginer and a little more advanced. By no means would I consider this a professional camera. If you want one of those you need to add another 0 to the end of the price on this.All in all I am extremly happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their feet wet in the photography world.

Got more than I bargained for..
Sometimes me as a consumer focus on the negative, and those are things to point out so that things can improve, but I also like to point out the positive things as well. This item was a refurbished item and I have to say, when you hear refurb. you think of ok, its packed in a no label box, maybe with some bubble wrap, but this item can in MINT condition, I would not know it was a refurb. unless I say the tag, the item was like new, packed in its original box, with charger, battery, strap everything was well packed like it came out of Canon. We purchased this camera mainly for family events, and memories, we just had a new baby and are looking to move away from our smartphone camera usage :-), I know its convenience is great, uploaded photos, etc., but we wanted something more high quality, with better exposure, sharpest, etc., this is a great beginner camera, one of the things we did was took some online how to’s, and let me tell you they help a ton. We went all out, got some backdrops, extra battery, since this was a refrub., we also got an extended warranty (wasnt very expensive), this is a great camera, the price from the seller was fantastic, cant be beat. Highly recommend. Also let me point out this does have wifi which you can transfer the high quality photos to your smartphone and uploaded it to the cloud, and NFC. Hope this helps with your buying decision.

Amazing! Great for Noobs.
Let me start by saying that I am brand new to photography with the exception of my phone and few pre-camera phone basic cameras. This is the best camera! Right out of the box it’s easy to just go and take the pictures you have waited the 2 whole prime-shipping days to take. (What did I do before 2 day shipping??) The first 2 of my uploads are from the evening I opened it and just took pics on the auto setting. The detail blows my mind. On my next day off I went to the beach and took the other 3 pictures, playing with the controls a little. I love the results! In time I may want to upgrade, but this is a perfect, well priced, beginners DSLR camera. It comes with a neck strap, battery and charger, and user guide- everything you need except a camera bag, and an SD card. I knew about the camera bag, but the need for an SD card never crossed my mind. Luckily I happened to have a 512MB one (Yep..megabytes…pre-camera phone, remember?) so I could start taking pictures right away. Learn from my mistake and make sure you add those to your cart too!

Just spend the extra 100-200 on a new one in store.
I know it was refurbished, but I paid the higher price for one in excellent working condition. I got it. No charger or battery. Okay so I ordered one. I get it and the camera turns on cool. But the screen has black background and when trying to take a photo you get a blank white screen as your finished product. I have a feeling they aren’t even checking that these are in full working condition before sending them out.

Good Beginner DSLR Camera
I got this Canon DSLR for some casual photography and it’s been solid so far. Image quality is good for the price. It’s beginner-friendly but still gives you room to learn manual settings. Battery life is decent and the camera feels sturdy.

This camera is perfect for anyone looking to get into photography! It’s easy to use and the pictures are a great quality. I bought this camera for a photography class, but I love it so much it’s become my new hobby! Even though it’s renewed it’s presented as pretty much new, in fact I couldn’t find anything wrong with the camera! Worth the price, especially if you’re only just getting into photography!
