Nice tablet, great price
This is a great little 8.7″ tablet! It has a clear, bright OLED screen. No fingerprint detection, but it does do face recognition fairly well as well as PIN.It connected to my wi-fi easily and was upgradable to Android 15 without any trouble. I activated a new number on Boost Mobile with it with zero issues, and it is working well on 4G-LTE when out of wi-fi range. There are plenty of good cases out there for it at reasonable prices- either lightweight +/- BT keyboard, or heavier rugged cases. It did come with an unmarked USB-C charger packed in the plastic bag, outside of the sealed box.The unit is a non-USA model. Mine is actually an Africa model, at least according to the sealed box it came in. That means no USA warranty, I suspect. If that bothers you, get a 3rd-party warranty for it. The IMEI and serial bar codes on the box were over-written with blue marker pen, yet these were the codes belonging to the actual device. The IMEI registered fine with Boost Mobile (Dish Network) as usable with their network as a phone and tablet. Mint, a T-Mobile based MVNO showed non-compatible for use as a phone, as indicated in the description.Very happy with it so far. Battery life is good, screen is great.

A nice tablet – not too big, not too small
Easy setup. Does basic functions as needed, APPs work fine too. Fast enough for routine use. Definitely worth the price considering the cost of much higher priced tablets that do basically the same thing. Did not use the SIM card option, just use this for wi-fi operations, and APPs. It works well for everything we use it for.

Fantastic device; faster than my laptop and phone
I have been buying Kindles for many years and my most recent one is the HDFire 8 inch. This Samsung is worlds ahead of the Kindle. You can download Kindle and read all the books in your library, no different than on the Fire. However, they key is that you get Android/Chrome which is far superior to Fire’s Bing. Surfing the internet is super-fast on this device compared to the plodding Fire. In fact, this device is faster than my own laptop and my cell phone. Watching movies is a much better experience as this device has a much better screen (visuals, clarity, contrast, colors, etc) and much better speakers. Everything about the device feels ‘premium’ compared to the Fire, so if you’re thinking about getting a Kindle device, even if just for reading, pay a little extra for this far superior near 8-inch tablet.

Works well if you root and debloat it.
It does work well if you update it to android 15 and root it. There is a lot of bloat on it by default that requires root to purge. It really could use more RAM however after being debloated it runs smoothly. I use it for navigation while flying.

The build quality is actually great. It is fast, and has the memory expansion which makes it great. Screen quality is excellent, connects to WiFi and cellular network easily. The sound quality is awesome for its size. What makes it even better is the price. The overall product functionalities and price are just wonderful and I do not regret at all. It came in brand new too.

Excellent value, works with t mobile
Excellent value!! With cellular connection and GPS, it compares to ipad celular mini at more than four times the price. Works with t mobile tablet data plans. Got it connected right out of the box with no hacks needed. I don’t need much data,so i signed up for a 5 GB plan for only $10 per month. This is my only plan with t mobile. My other mobile plans are with verizon, and my other mobile devices are apple.I bought it because of the form factor, functionality, and price. I have it mounted in my car for hands free gps with Google maps, and phone with google voice. It has worked out so well that I bought a second one just like it.
