Easy connection and install
Plugged into outlet, pressed on button, opened Alexa, connected. Plugged patio lights into Legrand and I can turn on and off from Alexa or iPhone. Took about 10 minutes for the entire process. Great product!!

May be Tricky to Commission, Worked Well for awhile. Now they are disconnecting every day.
Like the looks, functions well once you get it added..I’ve added many matter devices and this one proved more problematic than the others which were very simple to add. First, Alexa immediately added it as a wifi device before I even realized it. Not what I wanted as I needed to commission it as a Matter device in order to use my Hubitat smart hub.Update: After about a year of steady operation, both of the ones I have now lose connective every 24 hrs or so. Have to power them down and then up to reestablish connectivity to my Hubitat C-8 Pro hub.Am looking for replacementsDid a factory reset and then went through the steps in Alexa to commission plug as a matter device. First two attempts (with factory reset between) failed. Alexa would go through the various “found” “setting up” steps, everything seeming to work, and then end with the message “Not certified as a Matter Device.”Alarming and I was getting ready to send it back. But, why not one more try. After another factory reset and retry, Alexa fully commissioned it. I could easily then add it to Hubitat using the code Alexa provided for such purposes. So persevere. I have need for several and am pleased enough that I am ordering 2 more.

Easy as pie
This was very easy install. Actually, this was my very first installation of a matter device and couldn’t have been easier. I unboxed it and plugged it into the wall and before I could do anything else, it started blinking and my Alexa app told me it was installed! When ordering I selected a checkbox that had my WiFi info pre installed. No frustration, no manufacturer’s app, just connected automatically. That said, it has performed as it should since installing it. I am pleased.

Works great
We have several, this just works. It is high quality and has much better outlet protectors for the outdoors than “other major brands”. The fit and finish is noticably different, while the price is almost the same.

Robust design and effortless integration into your home automation platform
It’s great to see another Matter accessory from an established name like Pass & Seymour / Legrand. The plug itself is made from a thick molded plastic, with a single weather-resistant push button control and one status indicator light. The plug is an angled low-profile type with a small footprint, and the cable position works well for GFCI outlets, which is what your outdoor receptacles should be. The outlets at the bottom of the plug have thick rubber covers, and while those may not be fully sealed, they will provide some protection from water and elements. There is a loop for a screw to support mounting the plug to the wall. Both outlets on the device turn on and off at the same time – they are on a single switch, which can be operated via push button.Integration with home platform via automation is a breeze, especially if this is not the first time you are using a Matter device. There is no additional software required to configure the device other than your home hub (Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home or Smarthings). A removable sticker with QR code on the front of the device will feed the plug’s initial Matter device code with your home automation (in my case, that was Alexa). Linking additional home automation platforms will require you to obtain another temporary code from the first system, and copy/paste it into the next hub’s app (which I did for Apple Home and Google Home). All three platforms see the plug and work flawlessly through direct commands and automations. My only wish is to see a version of this plug with separate switch controls for each outlet – something other vendors already provide – as a more flexible option. Otherwise, this is an exceptionally well made and reliable device, and I would gladly recommend it.
