Open box allll day long for the win!
Quite happy with this purchase. I had to order a new soundbar when my previous Samsung soundbar sadly slipped this mortal coil. I upgraded to a 5.1 and can hear a significant difference. I’m not an audio expert so can’t wax poetic about all the bells and whistles but the Samsung TV audio is enhanced and speaking voices are much clearer and we can enjoy soundtracks again. My only issue is I wrestled with getting all my connections to speak to each other and play nice. My original Samsung TV and soundbar were connected before I introduced a Nivdia Shield for gaming and streaming. The Shield controller had not had issues controlling the TV and audio as it all seemed integrated but adding the newer soundbar through a monkey wrench in the works. Initially it worked out of the box but the next morning I couldn’t control the volume. I made some changes to the TV settings and it was fine but the next morning I’d lost control of the volume again. Back to the drawing board where I hardwired the soundbar to the TV with the optical connection and then accessed the Shield’s settings and changed control from the TV to the soundbar. This seems to have finally solved the problem and I now I have access to the TV power and soundbar volume using the Shield”s controller. (Finally!)The entire bar is longer, flatter and sleeker than my previous soundbar. I use it with with my 50″ inch TV and its almost as wide as the tv.In this case open box was the way to go with a savings of $100 off of new. For this reason, I find it to have been a great deal for the price.

THIS one is working better than the last one, I had to return b/c it advertised but did not support HDMI. This one was damaged in shipping, I’m sure due to Samsungs puzzle packaging. The sound bar front metal grill was deformed, impossible to straighten out the wrinkles. Works ok though, so I kept it.Soundbar APackaging F

I just got my sound bar today and I’m shocked by how amazing it is so far, the seller had an amazing price used and it looked almost brand new the only problem was the remote is a tad bit buggy but otherwise everything worked perfectly. I’m using the soundbar for music only and it sounds great AMAZING bass and it gets louddd 10/10
