I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this microphone system. It works well in our church and the second microphone is a bonus. The only poor thing was the very short power cable.

Surprisingly decent! These were a last minute back up purchase for a radio station outside broadcast. We usually always go for Sennheiser, but I wanted a back up just in case. We ended up using these for a whole day and not having any problems. The supplied batteries were poor and didn’t last. Also when we came to use better Duracell batteries there were a real struggle to get in (the supplied AA batteries were manufactured just a fraction smaller)I couldn’t get much level out of the Jack connector, so we ended up using the xlr connector which gave enough gain. The range was reasonable and we encountered no interference. For the money, they did their job for just one event. So we’re pleased.

This wireless Microphone system from Zomon includes everything needed (even the batteries) to connect the sytem and get it running. An amp or standalone speaker system with a 6.35mm jack is needed to connect to.Setup is about as easy as it gets – Put the batteries in the mics (unscrew the bottom), connect the receiver to the amp or speak, provide power to the reciever, long press the power buttons on the mics and it is ready to go. The microphones auto identify on the receiver regardless of what frequency they are set to – if a frequency change is needed the small button is located just below the battery compartment. The supplied jack lead (2 male ends) is about 60cm long which should be fine for most setups – longer leads are available on Amazon. There are also XLR sockets available to connect to a mixer deck or similar setup (leads not supplied) and this will allow more control over the individual microphones. It has a stated range of around 60 metres – I have not maxed this out but moving around a 60 ft room there were no issues with dropout and the sound quality was consistent throughout.Whilst it is supplied with the necessary batteries they did not last long so I would suggest investing in a couple of sets of rechargeables (also available on Amazon) if the set is going to be used regularly – it will work out cheaper in the long run.It also comes with a couple of silicon microphone guards to stop them rolling off the table or deck when someone inevitably just puts them down without looking.I think for less than £55 (March 2026) you can not go wrong – they are great value for money given that they work well, are solidly constructed and easy to setup.
