Great Birthday Gift for Kids:)
I originally got my son a very basic kids smartwatch, something in the $20 range, and it worked fine for simple use. But this time I wanted to get a birthday gift for my nephew, so I was hoping to find something a bit nicer and more presentable. I ended up choosing this one since it was slightly more expensive, around $50–60, which feels reasonable for a gift. After it arrived, I could immediately tell the difference compared to the cheaper one. The overall build and design feel much better. The screen looks clearer, the watch feels sturdier, and even the packaging looks more premium. It definitely gives a better first impression when you open it. The features are also much more complete. Calling, GPS, video call, games, camera, everything is there and works smoothly. It feels like a more “complete” product rather than just a basic toy. Most importantly, my nephew loved it. He didn’t want to take it off and kept exploring all the functions. That alone made it worth it. If you are just looking for a simple, low-cost option, the cheaper ones are fine. But if you want something that feels more like a proper gift and has better quality overall, this is a really solid choice.

It wasn’t super easy to add music, i think I accidentally deleted a couple things on it. But it has lasted with minimal wear and tear. She’s 6 and wears it pretty frequently.. if you don’t really like a song, don’t put it on there, because you’re gonna be listening to it constantly 🤣

Except phone everything thing works well
Too slow. The basic function of phone pickup is too slow. It takes 5 seconds after touching the phone icone for phone pickup which makes this product not useful. Phone is basic function. I am looking for watch with phone and GPS. But except these, evening things else such as games, watch face etc works fine you can even buy new watch faces through their app. But if you are looking for phone functionality, please look somewhere else.

Too long don’t wanna read summary: watch overall good. Age range more accurate for 8 to 17yo. Price range for sim between 11$-13$. Bad GPS accuracy. Have to use app for features.Pros: Set up and app are easy to use. You can turn off the dial feature so your child can’t just call whoever. You can preset acceptable contacts (parents, grandparents, other). The camera is clearer than I thought it would be so video calls are good. For the video calls, she can only use that feature for whoever has the app. That chat and message feature are also only available through the app. The accepted contacts that you add to the app for the watch are the only contacts the watch can call unless you allow the dial feature to be enabled. Anyone can call the watch, but there is a feature that disables “unknown numbers”. The games are all child appropriate and free. My child says it feels good on the wrist and the touch screen is easy to use. I like that it came with two options for the bands.The waterproof / resistance we probably won’t test that.The quality is phenomenal actually. Feels like a tough watch. The looks are sleek, it doesn’t look grossly out of place on little wrists.Cons: The SOS is not how I imagined it would be. I do get a notification in the app saying SOS activity and the watch will call me, but it doesn’t send a voice clip or an exact location or even video call…it just comes through as a normal call.GPS is actually what I’m most upset about. It is not accurate. Luckily we cyber school so I know when the app is showing the watch moving down the street or in a house a block away from us I know my child is not there. If my children were in public school this would be terrifying. Google and apple location sharing has a small radius of where the person may be when it can’t get an exact location so I do understand that accuracy is not going to be 100% all the time, but I did spend time trying to ping the watch and refreshing on the app to try and get it to show we were home and the closest it showed (yesterday and today) was at the neighbors house. But my child is older so the gps vicinity of where the watch is is good enough. I would actually age this for 8-17. I wish they clearly stated how much the plan for the sim card would be. If you pay for the year it comes out to 11$/month and you pay that all up front. The 6 month option costs 12$/month you pay that upfront. And the monthly came out to 13$/month. When I looked up the sim card online before purchasing plans were as low as 6$/month, but when you put in all the sim information it doesn’t give you that option on the website. It is what it is. We just paid for the year and called it a day.
