Solid replacement/upgrade pen for the money
This pen is pretty nice. I bought it to replace the basic one that came in my kindle. I have a first gen kindle scribe. So far, after a week or more of use no issues and full functionality. Eraser is very convenient. It is slightly shorter than the standard pen and a little lighter as well. I have a clear rubber case around my kindle with a spot for the pen and the magnets don’t line up exactly so the case just kind of holds it in place but I can live with that. Over all happy with the purchase. Great value for the money. Responsiveness seems to be the same as the standard pen.

Nice feel and pretty
Nice quality pen and works the same. Love the color highlights on the pen. The pen feels like any other pen or pencil I use It’s lighter and thinner than the amazon pen and is 1/3 the price. I haven’t had the opportunity to change the tip yet to see if the pen works with other tips workout any issue.

Almost perfect, with a regrettable flaw
For the price, I think this is an almost perfect replacement stylus. Its got a good feel and heft, the button and eraser work well. As others have said, it’s just killed by having a really crappy magnet. You may definitely lose this thing if you don’t have a stylus loop or something to tuck it into, the magnet probably won’t suffice.Edit: I stand corrected. I was trying a few different nibs in this stylus, and after pulling a nib out, the next one I tried to put in wouldn’t fully insert. I’m not sure why this would happen, but I can’t put nibs into it fully now. This is after only a few days of use. Trying to push the new nibs in just bends and snaps it.Edit 2: The company reached out based on this review and offered to either completely refund the order, or to try a second one. I opted to try a second one because I DID like the pen. Im putting the rating stars to 4 again. If this one works, and the nib receptacle continues to be replaceable and doesn’t break, its worth 4 stars. The magnets are weak which is the only complaint. I’ll update one last time, if needed, to decrease the rating back to 1 or 2 if the pen fails in other ways again. It seemed nice when it worked, but I officially can’t recommend it. :/

Worked well for a while
I have been using this for a while now and felt like I should write a review about my experience with this stylus. I purchased this due to me losing my kindle scribe stylus. This stylus worked well and was responsive, easy to use and it felt at the time it was a good replacement. in the last month it has become unresponsive very many times and of course when I need it like in a meeting taking notes. I have swapped the tip using theirs provided with the stylus and have the same results. I have another stylus that I can switch to and it works every time without fail, but I cannot carry it in the kindle case due to its width. It started off well but now I am on the hunt for a stylus that works and is affordable.

Ok pen; weak magnets.
The pen would write okay, but the magnets to attach it to the Scribe were very weak. I was afraid I’d lose the pen, so I returned it.

AWESOME !!!
I don’t know what else to say but this stylus is AWESOME. It’s lightweight and feels great in my had and it it is SOoooo smooth when writing. I put the original Scribe stylus away and only use this one. Since it is the same size as the original it fits perfectly into the cover’s stylus slot. If you are in need of another Scribe stylus, get this one.

So far by far the best replacement I’ve used and maybe better than the actual kindle pen. We’ll see if it holds up! (Unlike others)

Great

Was relieved with how well this pen worked! Comfort and smooth lines. Other comments noted the weak magnet, but I thought it was fairly strong… but still getting a stylus tether just in case! Updating to add that after a couple weeks, it stopped working. Will return and try again.

Let me start with the positives:+ I like the design and build quality of this pen+ The nib has a lot of friction with the writing surface which I personally like since it gives me more controlThat said this is not a good pen because it has a very high initial activation force (the minimum force needed for the pen to register a touch). This means that if you write very light, the pen is going to drop some of your movement from time to time. I find this to be especially annoying while using the lasso tool for making selections or using the onscreen navigation buttons. Also the high initial activation force means that you don’t have much control over the pressure (the thickness or intensity of created lines). I want to emphasize here that I’m not nitpicking here. I have used other pens and I know what kind of pressure response is expected from an EMR pen. This pen may have 4096 levels of pressure but the physical pressure range is so narrow that you can’t really have any control on the amount of the registered pressure. It’s pretty much 0 or 1.In summary, this pen may be fine for writing but is a terrible choice for drawing where you need fine control over pen pressure.
