Works perfectly with 2020 model flagship Samsung phone
My Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (why are they so bad at product names?) is a great phone. I haven’t felt any need to upgrade it. I was concerned about reviews of these mics saying that they didn’t work with their Android phones, but many don’t even identify which phone model, or what the behavior was. I decided to give it a try as supposedly it will work with any USB-OTG capable device, and I know my Galaxy is. (There are free apps you can download that will simply report if your device is USB-OTG capable, btw.)When I received them I wasn’t in a position to try immediately so I plugged them in to charge. When I finally did try them I read the simple manual and saw that the transmitters’s indicator LED will turn red when you turn them on and turn green when they connect to the receiver. The receiver’s LED is supposed to turn red when it has power and green when properly connected to the phone. Well, my receivers turned green, but the transmitter didn’t. Bummer! I spent a while trying to troubleshoot it. A USB tools app said that the device was recognized. At least the way Samsung has packaged my version of Android (up-to-date as of July 2024) there are no microphone settings to be found.Before returning them I tried them on my MacBook Pro. Using the system tools microphone setting I selected the recognized USB Audio input device and speaking into the mic it registered my voice as expected. Well, at least they aren’t defective! Then as I went to pull the receiver out of the USB port I noticed that the light was still red! It was working without ever turning green!I immediately plugged it back into my phone and tried it out and it works great! I confirmed by recording a video as I spoke and moved the mic around. Closer to my mouth it gets louder, further away it gets quieter, while the camera and my mouth never changed relative position. Perfect!Dumb that I didn’t just try that initially, but more dumb that the simple instructions are inaccurate. Glad it works great, sounds great, and priced very well!

The sound quality is way clearer than I expected—voices come through crisp with very little background noise. The noise-reduction feature really works, even in places with a lot of movement or outside noise.Setup was extremely easy… it paired with my iPhone in seconds. No complicated instructions or apps needed. I also love that it comes with two mics, which is perfect for recording with someone else, and the furry wind muffs are great for filming outdoors.The battery life lasts long enough for my recording sessions, and the little storage bag makes it easy to carry everything. For the price, this is an amazing value. If you record videos, TikToks, YouTube, or just want better audio for everyday use, I definitely recommends

The sound quality is very inconsistent, sometimes it sounds muffled, other times there’s a noticeable static noise in the background even when I’m in a quiet room.The Bluetooth connection is also extremely unreliable. It disconnects randomly during recording, which completely ruined multiple videos I was filming. Reconnecting is frustrating and takes way longer than it should.Overall, they performs very poorly in real use.

for 30$ you get the worst sounding audio kinda expected and ordered a better mic, these will just sit in a drawer and collect dust. NOT GOOD AUDIO quality
