Great Sound And Inexpensive
So I’ve been using the Edifier MG300 for almost a month now and I’m quite happy with it. I own a few Bluetooth speakers, and while some have deeper bass, they weren’t as capable at delivering clean audio in the upper ranges. My Bose and Sony speakers’ bass overpowered the higher frequencies, resulting in muffled vocals and weak treble — not ideal for music that isn’t edm. Over the past two months, I bought and returned a ton of Bluetooth speakers in my search for a balanced sound. It was a sometimes-frustrating search, but I eventually stumbled on the Edifier MG300. In a nutshell, I think it sounds great and the tuning seems nicely balanced. I tested it on various genres of music and this inexpensive speaker can handle everything from rock to metal to pop and dance with ease. Vocals and instruments have good presence and spoken words sound clear, which helps when listening to podcasts. As other reviewers mentioned, the bass isn’t ultra deep, but the MG300 does offer more than enough thump to make pop and dance music enjoyable (to my ears anyway), and being that this is a small soundbar, the two drivers are spaced farther apart, resulting in some stereo separation. It’s that separation that gives music a sense of spaciousness. Of course, the sound isn’t as enveloping as a pair of bookshelf speakers, but it’s certainly better than your typical portable speaker with mono or closely-spaced drivers. Also, while the plastic housing of the unit doesn’t scream super premium, the industrial design, with its 3d-like metal grill looks cool, and I’m a sucker for the rgb lighting with multiple settings. The rubber feet on the bottom are angled to help project the sound upward and the usb-only connection saves me from taking up another spot on my power strip. I keep mine permanently connected to my MacBook’s usb input. Furthermore, my phone auto-connects to the speaker, which has the latest Bluetooth 5.3 tech, almost instantaneously — nice!I really don’t have any complaints here, but do want to point out a few things: Although the sound is great in both the music and game modes, I don’t hear any major differences between those two EQ settings, and I’m unable to discern which mode the speaker is in because there’s no visual indication on the unit. Moreover, there’s no 3.5 auxiliary input, so connecting the MG300 to my TV’s audio output is a no-go, but I knew that before purchasing. Lastly, the speaker doesn’t go super loud using the Bluetooth. It can, however, reach significantly higher volume levels when playing audio in usb mode. No dealbreakers, just things worth noting.In closing, this was an excellent purchase. Great sound, and the price was a reasonable $51, after tax, making the Edifier MG300 a keeper.

Impressive and Surprising!
I required a sound bar for my desktop PC at my winter home and originally ordered a different model prior to this one. That did not work out, because on that one, the bass was non existent, loudness was not there, and it looked and felt cheap. So I sent it back.I read the reviews on which Chinese brands were rated most highly and Edifier popped up. Further research indicated it could be a good buy providing a good product. The package came in original packaging, (which I did not expect), and came out of the box looking as advertised. A quick plug into the USB port on the computer powered it up and I quickly and seamlessly connected to Bluetooth function on the PC. I was stunned when I heard the sound come from this soundbar. Deep base, good loudness and the right trebles to which ever song or video I played. I was impressed as I am an audiophile and normally would not buy a piece of sound equipment without a recognized brand and a low price such as this one. The loudness is there, although if you want this to blast out in your apartment or home as the only source of audio for parties or whatnot, its not going to do that. Its great for reasonable loudness as you sit in front of your computer or your television. I am impressed and would recommend this to anyone looking for an offbrand soundbar, reasonably priced and easy to set up and play.

Even for PC speakers. A lot quieter than you would expect
Sound quality is good but unless you plan on sitting 2 ft away from the speaker it’s going to be hard hear. If you turn it up all the way the speakers will break up badly. Not what I was expecting from Edifier. Weak on bass considering how low the volume is. You would think it was quiet to keep the bass from overpowering the speakers. Definitely disappointed but it’s not that expensive and it is a better quality product. It will likely last longer than most other Chinese products..

La bocina es perfecta para las necesidades que yo tengo, había estado leyendo reseñas y varias decían que sonaban un poco bajo, y que no llenaban los cuartos. Honestamente creo que tienes que tener un cuarto de un tamaño de una casa en sí para que tengas problemas con el nivel de sonido.En lo que respecta los bajos y altos, y todo eso, realmente no conozco muy bien, pues no tenía muchas expectativas para eso, ya que yo venía de utilizar solamente el sonido de la laptop, supongo que podría decir que son buenos también en eso, pero repito, desconozco respecto a esto.

All was great, easy to install

Does the job. Great quality feel in the build. It has good sound for a computer speaker but definitely not a room filler or a gaming speaker. It is more for a home office. The RGB adds a nice touch to your space. Since there is chip powering it, it could have allowed for light syncs with other devices/apps.
