Awesome lights!
These lights are exactly what I need to light up my recording studio to start shooting videos for a podcast! I originally bought the Neewer 13″ Led Video Light Panel Kit, 2 Pack Dimmable Bi Color Soft Key Lighting with Tripod Stand, 8000mAh Battery, but returned them a spent a little more on these! Well worth it. These are dimmable with a remote which is a plus, you can adjust the temperature install 2 970 batteries per each light, just awesome!….

Perfect light set for video or photo
I have been researching panel lights for a while and saw these on an early Black Friday deal so I grabbed them. I love the accuracy of the light reading and the ability to easily read the Kelvin scale on the light turning it from white to yellow light. I’ve used these to film video for my business, to set up a Photo Booth for my father in law’s birthday, and to take photos in our house. They are easy to set up, store beautifully in the included storage bag, and work great plugged in. They do have an option to add batteries for cord-free operation, but I haven’t needed to purchase them yet. Great lights! Very powerful and bright when needed and dim when you don’t.

The best option for the price for video AND photo
I’ve been using these lights for around two months actively every day. And recently was doing some photo shooting of fast moving objects with these lights.A7iv with 1/800shutter, f 2.8 and 320 iso made things be fully frozen in the shots.This fact surpized me and I look way differently at the lights now. Cause I brought my flashes, and I didn’t use them.As for the filming, I was using the lights on 70-100 brightness. So far have had no problems with them at all.One time the fully extended light fallonThe hardwood floor faze down and it passed the crash test perfectly. Not a single damage was found.Also, some people say that the tripods are too light, but that’s actually good.If you need to carry these lights from one location to another. They are very comfortable to use and quite stable.But obviously if someone passes by and touches the cord.There is a huge chance of the lights falling down.

I’m reviewing the 18″ LED light panel kit. It works comparably to my other lighting kit that runs about $300. Maybe a bit more light-duty feeling, but that’s to be expected at this price point.I have a little quibble with the length of the cords. For many professional light kits at the highest stand setting, it’s normal for the AC power adapters to Velcro onto the light stand so they don’t hang in the air. This is the first stand kit I’ve purchased that does not include that basic piece. For $180, the Velcro attachment should be included in the kit. They cost like $1 each. Again, it’s not a big deal, but… really?All in all, decent professional equipment. You will need to purchase some Velcro strapping (search: elastic hook and loop straps)

I haven’t owned these long enough and haven’t used them enough to conclude that I’m fully confident with their durability, but so far these soft LED lights are amazing!!! Light weight, excellent clean design/styling, wide even illumination, super thin & easily controllable using the included amazing remote. I use them mostly for wedding & event videos, they fit perfectly into this category and provide more then enough brightness. Using them with my Sony A7s3, I can dim them down to 50% and have more then sufficient brightness while not blinding anyone. This of course increases my battery life to beyond 5 hours, amazing! These lights are a great find, certainly fairly priced and will outdo any competitor. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed as they are too good to be real!!!Mild disappointments…the build feels somewhat flimsy (one fall and OMG) and the remote will not turn on/off the main power (one needs to switch main power on at the rear of each light in order for the remote to have full control). The included stands are too short therefore I will sell them. Overall an excellent buy.
