Compatible with IKEA Dirigera Matter Bridge
I really enjoy when smaller off brand zigbee devices show up at the low price range of these. I bought for the energy metering and the price. I was excited when they paired to my IKEA Dirigera Matter Bridge. These plugs are fully compatible with the IKEA Dirigera. Their power metering is monitored by the IKEA home app and now thanks to Matter 1.3 the power data is exposed to other platforms like Home Assistant. These smart plugs are a must buy if you need power metering and a boost to your zigbee mesh, unless you use an Aqara hub…

Once figured out it is working good
I’m using this with home assistant through z2mqtt. Pairing it was easy as the experience was same as other device pairing. After pairing i was able to control it but this was not showing any power meters so thought may be not working but i clicked on that update on expose entity and it started working. So anyone using it make sure you hit that update at least once so that it starts updating those parmeters. I liked the fact that this exposes all the setting we would be expecting like the interval of measurement.

Reliable, easy to use Zigbee compatible outlets
This is a nice Zigbee compatible plug. I use it with Home Assistant. It is easy to pair and stay reliably connected. It is also nice and compact so it does not block other outlets. It also reports voltage, current, and power consumption of connect devices. While I cannot say much regarding the accuracy of these values, they appear to align with the expected power consumption of the connected electronics. They also act as Zigbee routers so they nicely extend the range and robustness of the network.

    Requires a gateway
What smart plug these days needs a separate hub or gateway? Also, this requires you to download some sketchy software to connect it. Not a great ease of use for something that should be simple.

Easy to set up and use
This nous Zigbee smart plug is a great option for a decent price point for Zigbee compatible networks. It only took a minute to set it up with SmartThings and Home Assistant, and it has worked flawlessly for me over the past few months. The power meter is also a nice way to get an accurate estimate of how much the powered device costs to operate. This seems to me to be a great option for those who have adopted the Zigbee protocol in their smart homes. I have dozens of Zigbee and Z-Wave devices, and although I prefer Z-Wave technology, the cheaper cost of reliable Zigbee devices like this one keeps me buying Zigbee.

Turned My Home Into a Smart Jungle (Minus the Roaring)
I got this ZigBee smart plug so I could automate my coffee maker and pretend I live in the future. Now every morning, it obediently brews my coffee like a caffeinated dragon following voice commands. It’s glorious.Setup was simple, except for the moment I thought I had connected it to my toaster but accidentally powered a lamp that now flickers like a raccoon doing Morse code. Once I sorted out which plug was which, everything worked smoothly. The app control is great. I can now turn things off while lying completely still, which is basically my natural state. The energy monitoring feature told me my air fryer is apparently the hungriest appliance in the house. No judgment. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t block the other outlet, which I appreciate because I have the wiring skills of a skunk on espresso. All in all, a solid little gadget that lets me act like a tech wizard with minimal effort.[Disclaimer: This review is for “ZigBee Smart Plug 15A, Energy Monitoring, Compatible with Alexa, Google Home, Home Assistant, SmartThings, Remote App Control, Timer & Schedule, Compact Design, Smart Outlet, 1 Pack”. Easy Setup and Great Features
I love this little Zigbee Smart Plug – you can never really have too many of them.It should be noted, that if you haven’t dealt with Zigbee devices in the past, you do need a hub for them, but they these devices are far superior to WiFi devices in many, many respects. Personally, I am using a Sonoff USB powered Zigbee hub with my Raspberry Pi 5 running Home Assistant, but most generic Zigbee hubs would likely work. The device itself is nice and small and has a physical power button. Beyond the standard On/Off switching, it also provides the ability to monitor the current in amps and the power draw in watts. This can be useful for understanding how much your appliances are consuming at any given time. While I like to use devices like this during the holidays for light-up decorations, I am using this particular NOUS model within an automation within Home Assistant that turns on an old A/V receiver when my music device starts playing and turns off the receiver after two minutes of no music playing. This is great as the older receiver constantly runs at 48 watts even when no music is playing and it’s hidden in a cabinet.Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys home automation and saving energy!
