Excellent, sturdy box
This box is excellent and much better quality than similar boxes available. The others that I have tried have been made of lightweight plastic and don’t hold up over time. This box is solid – the picture of people standing on it is not an exaggeration. The cords are sealed up tight and no water is getting in.I would love to see a version made with vents for air circulation. I use the boxes for Halloween and Christmas light shows and the power supplies have built in fans to keep them cool; ventilation is helpful in warmer weather.I was concerned that so many of the reviews were made by vine customer influencers, but don’t worry about that. This is safe to buy with a good price.

Waterproof box for outdoor lighting transformer
Needed a waterproof box to enclose an outdoor lighting transformer. Even if I attached the transformer to the exterior wall, it would still be exposed to the rain, ultimately short-circuiting the system. Just could not understand that the connecting wires from the lights to the transformer had NO protective covering. This corrected that problem and protected the transformer and the cable connections. it fit perfectly, had enough areas for the cables of the transformer to enter/exit the waterproof box. I especially appreciated the 4 clamps to secure the top in place. I did not need the waterproof cover but it was a nice option to have available.

Really nice! Better..,and cheaper than other electrical boxes that I’ve purchased. Comes with accessories not given with other boxes. Has a really tight fit to better secure the wires.

I purchased this because I needed a waterproof box to hold the power plug I connected to an extension cord for my inflatable hot tub. When this arrived I was disappointed to find that the holes for the cords are not big enough for anything thicker than 14 gauge cords.I was going to return it but instead I purchased a Dremel tool and with a little ingenuity I used the Dremel to sand down and widen two of the cord holes on each of the long ends of the box, top and bottom; one to accommodate the 12ga extension cord and the other for an 8ga hot tub cord. Once this was done it worked perfectly to conceal the big GFCI plug for the hot tub and the receiving end of my extension cord. Very happy not having to worry about water from rainstorms potentially getting into the plug and ruining it or shorting it out.

Great quality, design, and functionality. I enclosed my GFI duplex and my landscape lighting controller in the box. Neat, clean, and weathertight. I will buy two more of these for similar applications.
