Great, attractive watch. Top of class, subscription-free app. Great ecosystem. An amazing value.
I bought and returned a Pixel Watch 4. Hated it. They try to do everything and end up with a bulky Rube Goldberg device. This Amazfit Active 2 watch is an absolute steal and ideal for health and sports tracking enthusiasts. I has a wonderful non-bulky form factor, *incredible* battery life, great ecosystem (goes great with Helio smart ring) and a truly great top-of-class subscription-free android app, “Zepp”, that will synchronize data with the Active 2 and other Amazfit devices – in coordination. Lots of activities supported, like table tennis and roller skating which I do. With your smart-phone it also does a lot of smart-watchy things too, like messages, calls, navigation, more, that I couldn’t care less about. But it seems to do them quite well, too.

Amazfit Active 2 Review: The Garmin and Apple Watch Rival I Didn’t See Coming
As someone who has used everything from Apple Watches to various Garmin models, I went into the Amazfit Active 2 with high expectations—and honestly, it has blown me away. For a watch that sits at such an aggressive price point, I felt like the “premium” experience starts the moment you start unboxing the product.First Impressions: The “Out-of-the-Box” FactorThe packaging is surprisingly impressive. Often, budget-friendly options lack in this area and it can be obvious that it is a budget-friendly option just purely due to the packaging alone. But Amazfit clearly took a page out of the high-end playbook here. The unboxing has the kind of presentation that makes you feel like you’ve bought a piece of luxury tech rather than just a cheap fitness tracker.Setup & Sync: Pretty Effortless IntegrationIf you’ve ever struggled with a finicky Bluetooth pairing process, you’ll appreciate how seamless this is. Just turn on the Amazfit 2, download the Zepp app, scan the QR code and you’re set.Within three minutes, I had my notifications configured, my health data syncing, and a new watch face installed.- Note, my watch did force me to update the software prior to being able to doing too much on the watch. This took about 10 minutes. The UI: Smooth, Snappy, and Spot OnThis is where the Active 2 truly earns its keep. Coming from the fluid (but battery-hungry) Apple Watch and the data-rich (but sometimes clunky) Garmin interface, I was skeptical about Zepp OS.The UI on the watch is exceptionally smooth (almost too smooth? If that can be a thing). There’s no noticeable stutter when swiping through widgets, and the touch response is immediate. The app icons look premium and overall I think it will be a great option to track my fitness and sleep. The VerdictAs someone who has lived in the Apple and Garmin ecosystems, I am genuinely impressed. The Amazfit Active 2 doesn’t just “compete” for the price—it stands on its own merits for design, ease of use, and software performance. If you want the premium feel without the “premium” tax, this is the one.

    Great watch for the price.
This is my first smart watch and I’m not disappointed. After using it for 1 week the charge was only down to 53%, so it has excellent battery life. There are so many features, I still find new ones after using it for a couple of weeks. When I go for a walk, the app tracks my route. It is more accurate for distance and elevation than my other phone apps. It has blue tooth, so I can see texts and answer phone calls on the watch – just like the fictional Dick Tracy watch when I was a kid! The phone app shows a lot of data for each feature and it does not cost extra to see it. This is a great watch!

    Great Watch for under 150$
After about two weeks I can finally give an honest review. I was able to get the watch at 85$ after my galaxy watch had its last day and I dont regret this purchase at all. I was a bit concerned it wouldnt work as well as the galaxy watch I had before (Galaxy watch 6) but this a great alternative. Visually the design is sleek and has good durability with a great set of built in tools. It can be used to workout, track your heart rate which is what I use it for and has lasted for over a week without a recharge. It also connects to your phone and is great for a quick look at what notifications you are receiving. The only thing I will say I didnt like is the fact that it doesn’t work with samsung health so everything is kept in a separate app. I will also say the sleep tracking is absolutely terrible. Ive worn it to sleep about 5 days and it hasnt tracked well at all. Maybe I just move to much in my sleep but it hasnt worked for me. Lastly I will say the watch band that the Active 2 premium comes with is really ugly and makes the watch look cheap. However after purchasing a better band ( for 10 bucks) it has been great and Ive received many compliments for the watch. All and all a great watch at the price point. For a Smart watch under 100 bucks if your budget is small or you want to have a second watch that can be used as a daily beater this is a perfect choice and will do everything you need it to do. It can even download an entire Map into the watch itself , control your music and it even comes with its own AI assistant.

I was indeed “amazed” to see this Amazfit active 2 premium watch. And more so at this price range it worth each of your buck. I won’t write much on its gr8 features as it well written already by others. The look and feel of this gadget is impressive. It works well on each of its features viz fitness workouts, accuracy or heart beat and spo2 I loved the auto workout detection – a welcome change from my earlier fossil watch which was supposed to be a premium one and yet no such option. At this price range it beats most of its peers on functionality and effectiveness. Considering its awesome features and functions and utility – On price it has no competition at all. One more thing – it’s compatible with iPhone – works like a charmA sure go to product if you are a conscious fitness enthusiast !

Bought this to replace my Fitbit which broke, having lasted less than 18 months. Sick of poor quality Fitbit I decided to move away from them and did a lot of research before settling on this beauty. What can I say, it outshines my old fitbit in every way and cost less too. It looks better, the quality and build seem better, like it might actually last longer, and the zepp app which comes with it is brilliant. The insights are great, again, way more detailed than Fitbit! The watch itself has a really clear, bright screen, and even displays photos and videos! I can even get my ring doorbell on it. It’s very versatile to suit your needs, with so many different features and there’s lots of clock faces to choose from to personalise it, some free, some paid. It was really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Battery life is insane too, I’ve just gone 10 days since my first charge without charging it. I’ve just now put it on charge, it was still on 25% so not desperate (for this watch anyway). I cannot recommend this watch enough for looks, versatility, ease of use, battery life, and price point. It looks way more expensive than it is! I do recommend buying screen protectors though as this watch does have a glass screen.

Lightweight, Extremely Accurate, and Outstanding Battery LifeAfter using the Amazfit Active 2 (44mm) for a full year, I can confidently say this smartwatch delivers exceptional value. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight the watch feels on the wrist. It is comfortable for all-day wear, including sleep tracking.Battery performance is one of its biggest strengths. Even with sleep tracking turned on, I charge the watch only twice a month. In one full year of usage, I have used my 4× charger cycle in a single month, which shows how efficient the battery truly is.In terms of accuracy, the watch performs exceptionally well. I have compared the readings many times with other brands and devices, and the results are equally accurate and consistent. The Zepp app is another major advantage. It provides reliable syncing, clear reports, and strong customization options. The support for custom open-source mini-apps made by developers is extremely useful, especially small apps for exercise, notifications, and utility functions.Overall, this smartwatch stands out because of its light weight, long battery life, high accuracy, and excellent app ecosystem. A solid, dependable product that has impressed me throughout the year.
