I have owned Audiosource products before, and I have never really been disappointed in them; they seem to have a real nack for producing a product that seems to reach a bit beyond it’s grasp, and this little soundbar is no exception. The soundbar itself (that is, the part that goes beneath the TV) is impressively slim; if you see the dimensions that read 1.4 inches tall, that is no misprint. Some of the listing photos clearly have the unit photoshopped onto a stock image, making it look bigger than it is, but it is impressively slim; I suspect it could slide underneath many TVs if set up freestanding, and be nearly invisible in use.The sound is NOT invisible at all. I played ‘What About Us’ by Samson for the first listening test, and did a double take when the beat kicked in… holy cow! Don’t get me wrong… I’m not saying you’re going to crack a doorjam, but for the size of the subwoofer, I was impressed with how deep and powerful the bass actually was; I didn’t run through sine waves or any such thing to thoroughly test for extension, but it clearly seems to hit in the 40s with little difficulty, which is no mean feat for a unit of this size. I have a home built subwoofer that is the size of a small refrigerator and can produce tones that you only feel, not hear (as low as 13hz), so I know a bit about deep bass, and this thing impressed me for the size and price.Now the one thing that disappointed me… the bluetooth. Don’t get me wrong; it paired easily, and worked cleanly, but the range is a BIT limited. I had it playing in one room while we worked in the room across the hall (maybe 20 feet away), and found that I had to put my phone in the room with it because it kept losing connection. Not bad if you’re using it in the same room, but if you want to play music from it while wandering around with your phone in your pocket, you will probably run into problems.That aside, it did a great job of replacing an aging soundbar that only had a wired sub and a sub that was a bit large for the small room we had it in, so we are pretty happy with it… for us, the bluetooth is not something we will use much anyway, so it’s no big deal; I still had to drop a star for that, however, because the range is, honestly, absurdly limited in my opinion… I had one bluetooth speaker that allowed me free range of my entire property without losing connection; that was exceptional, I recognize, but for this to force you to be in the same room with it almosts defeats the convenience of a wireless connection… just my opinion!Overall… recommended with that one caveat.

Sounds great in our bedroom!
I’m unsure of if the quality is efficient for a large living room. But in the case of our master bedroom, this is great for the movie watching in bed experience. Modern TVs sound so flat. From the time I opened the box to having it finished hooked up and ready was a matter of about 10 minutes for me. And part of that was just troubleshooting to make sure I had everything set up properly. It’s working great for movies and sounds much more vibrant than what we used to listen to. Having a subwoofer really makes a difference. It’s also a great way to play music either off of YouTube or streaming directed to the sound bar. Connection to the television and my Bluetooth were pretty simple, but it’s not my first rodeo hooking up to a sound bar. It functions well and just good value for the dollar overall. A great sound bar with Atmos for a reasonable budget! Five stars!

Good sounding compact soundbar with a bluetooth woofer
I ordered this soundbar for a small sitting room where a theater arrangement would not be appropriate. I appreciate the compact size and that there are few wires running here and there.There are two parts to this sound system, the wired main speaker to locate beneath the TV screen, and a wireless bluetooth speaker to locate as desired.The kit ships with a remote control and all the necessary cables for HDMI and power.Setup was reasonably simple and easy. Plug in the speakers to AC power, connect the main speaker to the TV by HDMI. Setup the remote. Once powered on, the main speaker recognized the bluetooth woofer immediately.The remote control setup was easy to follow using the included instructions. The functions are exactly what one would expect of a modern TV remote.Sound quality is very good for a compact speaker set, and produces moderate to loud volume. Quality is better at moderate volume. There are no separate side speakers, but the stereo separation is perfect in my small den.Overall, this is a good quality speaker system. Simple to setup, sounds very good, easy to use.At this price point, I feel it is a good value.
