Works Well
Got this for my 8 year old who really wanted a computer to play Minecraft etc. it arrived within two days in great condition. The set up took maybe 15 minutes from opening the box to getting it connected to wifi, so much easier than i expected. It came with a monitor, light up tower and LED lights that are controlled by a remote , light up keyboard (lights can be turned off or on), light up mouse, and light up headphones. My 8 year old was very happy to receive this for his birthday! The keyboard shift button isn’t working well, but one fast phone call to their service number and they said they are shipping us a new one!So far this has been a great buy for the money!

Power supply blew up after 4 days.
I bought this for my girlfriend as her first computer 4 days ago (12-01-25) and today (12-05-25) the power supply literally blew up. It made a super loud pop sound and immediately shut off without warning. Upon opening it up, a white chalky looking thing came out which is typically from a capacitor. I thought at first it may have been the motherboard, but apon looking, it was fine. I took the power supply out of the pc and visually inspected it and seen nothing wrong.I jumped the power and ground on the power supply, nothing happened. No fan or anything. So I checked with a multimeter and got 0 volts from any wire. The grounds were fine since they had 0hms.I am a bit tech savvy so I will not be returning or sending in for warranty. I have since ordered a replacement power supply. I did not feel like packaging up everything for someone 35 dollar upgrade. It came with a 225 watt power supply and ordered a 255.If you dont know what you’re doing with computers, I suggest you get a brand new computer. Not a refurbished one. I took a chance knowing something may happened due to the seemingly never ending stream of similar instances in the reviews. It does have rgb which is okay, it ran pretty smoothly and did run the sims on medium low graphics, the wifi adapter is pretty okay, it was doing 100+ mbps and 50+ upload. However, none of that makes it worth even 2 stars considering we’ve had it for 4 days. Thanks for reading.

Issues after 90 day exchange/return window
This was a great buy as it comes with everything you need to start up a gaming computer. However, the cord that came to connect the monitor to the modem was not compatible, so I had to purchase a new one. We purchased as a Christmas gift and it took a lot to get a cable to make it work on Christmas Eve. But it worked fine up until 1 month ago. Monitor keeps going black, flickering on and off. I changed our monitor and got a new AC Adapter. Computer continues to flash black off and on. So much that my son can’t see what is happening during game play. I am outside of my return window so there isn’t anything I can do. I wouldn’t recommend buying reused/renewed. I think it’s best to just buy something new as we don’t know what the issue was/is with used devices. Was it a great purchase initially yes, would I buy renewed again no. Should Amazon allow a year for issues on used items. Yes they should. It protects the buyer on a used product.Updating my review: I did this, and it seems to have stopped the flashing off screen – Refresh the graphics driver: Press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B at the same time. Your screen will flash, and this refreshes the graphics driver, which can resolve the issue. Hopefully this resolves all issues.

Computer never worked right from the beginning
I bought this computer for my thirteen year old to play sims on. From the very beginning, it wasn’t powering on correctly, sometimes the power button would just blink on the console orange without the computer coming on. After maybe two weeks of her using it daily, it wouldn’t come on at all. It just would sit and blink orange. They were quick to tell me it was the power supply when i called customer service and sent me a replacement one. They expected me to put it in, I couldn’t do I went to a local computer shop to have them switch it out to pay eighty bucks to have the guy tell me the entire motherboard has been fried and they sold me a 2011 model that was junk and to get my money back. My daughter was very disappointed. Of course they are giving me a full refund, but it’s taking quite a long time to see it come back in my account after I returned it to them. I learned by lesson and will never buy from this company again.

For My Teenager
When my teenage son told me all he wanted for Christmas was a desktop, I nearly spit out my coffee. With six kids to play Santa for, that was a big ask. But this Dell Optiplex 24-Inch Desktop Computer? It saved the day and my budget. Perfect specs, perfect price—Santa (aka me) nailed it.Fast forward to January 3rd, and I haven’t really seen him since. He turned his walk-in closet into some sort of gamer cave, complete with LED lights and an energy drink stash. I think he’s alive because dirty bowls magically appear in my sink, and I hear occasional grunts that sound like joy (or victory). So yeah, I’m calling it a win.The computer itself is running like a dream. He’s obsessed with the speed (thank you, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD), and I haven’t heard a single complaint. Honestly, I kind of miss him, but if silence and happy gaming vibes mean success, this computer gets five stars from me.Santa-approved, kid-loved, and mom-pleasing. What more can you ask for?
