Battery issue
I’ve purchased this product in September now I’m in December. The battery will not hold its charge. Anymore whatsoever, although the speaker sounds great. But now I cannot play at full volume even when plugged in.I say the quality of this product is really great.It just needs a better battery or a newer one. It is really simple to use and take care of with the clip and magnet if it had a way to replace the battery it would have been nice

Really Liking this Compact, Robust, Feature-Rich Speaker!
DISCLAIMER OF BIAS: Item provided by Seller via Amazon review program at nominal cost to solicit my independent, objective, unbiased review of the same.Great little speaker. Constructed completely of heavy plastic (including the speaker grill). The touchscreen is responsive and accessing all features is easy. There are quite a few features like calendar, contacts, and more as set forth in the Item Description but since I use my phone for those functions, didn’t take the extra time to set those features up on the speaker. Just using as a speaker. The other features actually remind me of ipods of the past. I haven’t downloaded the companion app because the device functions fine as-is for what I need it for – a compact speaker.As a speaker, which is the device’s main function, very happy given its small size. Slightly larger than a deck of cards, Bluetooth setup only took a few minutes with my iphone 16, without any issues or difficulty. Subsequent pairings happened automatically once initially setup. The device’s weight gives it a robust, solid feel while not being overly heavy for it’s size. It feels like a real audio device, not like a cheap toy.The non removable back clip is sturdy and will securely attach the speaker to a belt, strap, backpack, or the like with confidence. The top of the clip has two holes which I looped the included wristlet through. The wristlet affords backup if you’re holding the device and for some reason drop it on accident (the device material isn’t textured but still provides plenty of grip, it’s neither glossy nor slippery). There is an integrated powerful magnet, I believe within the clip, which I used to stick the device to the vertical screen fairing of a golf cart. The speaker stayed in place through nine holes of golf with no issue – aside from rough use, I think the magnet is strong enough to keep the speaker securely attached to whatever surface it is attached to.The sound is loud and clear for it’s size especially. I was surprised. The bass is present, but as would be realistically expected, there’s no thumping sub frequencies. The overall sound bias to my ears leans to deeper frequencies but in a way that gives the sound presence rather than overly coloring the audio. Plenty loud for a typical room and probably even for a backyard party. Surprisingly strong output, given it’s size. Would be perfect for the beach, a barbecue at the park, bike or scooter, etc.I did receive texts and calls on the speaker and as long as I was within a few feet, the device picked up my voice, spoken at a normal volume without issue.

Good Sound Quality; Some Unnecessary Features
The EIFER V9 portable Bluetooth speaker is an interesting product. It isn’t often you see a clip-on speaker.For a product of its price, this little Bluetooth speaker packs a lot of features. Not only does the speaker connect to your phone to play music, but it also has a companion app, called “Joy Music”, that allows the screen to display weather information, alarms, photos, and contacts. I found some of the V9’s features to be less than useful.Overall, however, it accomplishes what it sets out to accomplish. For outdoor use while hiking or working, this is a outstanding option.Sound: As someone who’s picky about sound, this speaker was not disappointing. Even at maximum volume, the little speaker in this EIFER portable device sounds clear and undistorted. The speaker in here is of good quality. In addition, Bluetooth 5.4 means connection quality is outstanding. The V9 connected to my phone easily, and the Bluetooth connection stayed solid while I moved around the house with my phone in my pocket.For listening to podcasts or vocals, the sound is truly excellent. The V9 is ideal for listening to vocal content like podcasts. It gets loud enough to hear your content from up to 30 feet or so away.Music, however, sounds thin, due to a lack of bass. Don’t expect to feel the impact of drums with this little speaker; there simply isn’t the bass presence to “feel” the music. I’ve been using the V9 to listen to podcasts while I do yard work, and for this use, it’s great.Manufacturing Quality: I am quite impressed with the quality of materials and finishing with the V9 Bluetooth speaker. The buttons feel sturdy and responsive, the plastic doesn’t creak, and it feels nice in the hand. It has some weight to it. The small touchscreen is responsive and vibrant. On the side, under a little rubber gasket, is an micro SD card slot. You can load your music files on an SD card, and the app will display your music file information on your phone.This is the greatest strength of the V9, in my opinion: an IPX5 waterproof rating. IPX5 means this speaker is waterproof in any situation except total submersion in water. You can spray your garden hose at the V9 and it will stay functional. Heavy rain? No problem. Use it outdoors, in any weather. I’ve been using mine the bathroom while I shower. Even if it gets sprayed, it won’t get damaged.Other Features: The companion app is quite basic, and I find that these features, though not totally useless, are somewhat extraneous. I can’t imagine a setting where I’d need to check the weather or photos on the V9, rather than my phone. One feature that I do find useful is a “white noise” player, where I can play nature sounds, like rain or birds or wind. There is also an alarm feature, which is a useful addition.Summary: The V9 packs a lot of features, but its main strength are its sound quality for vocal content, and its waterproof rating. For listening to podcasts while working or hiking outdoors, this is a great option. Its extra features are probably a bigger hindrance than help, but its speaker performance is truly impressive.
