Decent but overpriced
This is a nice iPad case with a detachable keyboard and trackpad. Setup was easy and it works as expected, but it’s nothing extraordinary. The features are convenient, like the 360-degree stand, hand strap, and pencil holder, but the overall quality doesn’t feel like it justifies the price.Even though I received it for free, the listed price was $85. I think that’s too high, especially since you can find similar cases with comparable quality for much less. It works fine, but I wouldn’t say it’s a great value at full price.

Great case but weighty
This has become a favorite but with a caveat. It is a very protective case. It fits an iPad perfectly protecting the corners and holding firm. It is fairly thick and feels solid. The volume controls, camera cutout, and power are perfectly placed and work very well. There is a rubber strap on the bottom corner that can be used to secure the tablet closed when transporting it. It will not stay closed magnetically. It includes a slot on the right side to hold an Apple pencil.The bag has a swivel on with an adjustable rubber hand loop and a pop-out stand. Since it is on the swivel, the stand can be positioned in landscape or portrait and upside down. On a flat surface, the stand will hold the iPad up perfectly. The hand strap also helps to keep a grip on the iPad as well as ease some of the weight.The keyboard works well. It does have light modes that can be cycled through a variety of colors and light levels. The keyboard connects to the iPad (or your phone or other device) via bluetooth. There are also extended functions like display brightness, mic mute, volume controls, lock, and player controls. The keyboard is powered with a rechargeable battery that can be charged via USB on the side.There are some things to be aware. There is a trade-off to be made here for protection. This unit is fairly heavy. You’ll feel it in your arm after holding the iPad up for awhile. I don’t get the same feeling when using light weight flap covers. But then light weight units don’t offer the same protection or added features. The hand loop will help.The keyboard cover is detachable, which is good. However, it is also necessary. Since the hand loop on the back is permanently fixed, you cannot simply flip the cover to the back. You have to physically remove it and stow it somewhere where you won’t forget it. It’s a bit inconvenience because I use my tablet more as a table than a laptop. However, when I need a keyboard, this is still really handy.I mentioned the handgrip is not removeable. The other downside to that is storage. You can’t just lay it flat and it takes up more space in a bag.The keyboard is not automatic. You have to switch it on and remember to switch it off. Since it is not connected physically to the iPad, it charges separately so you’ll need two charging cables. More than likely, you’re going to forget one day and run the battery down.All that said, it is a good case and one of my current favorites. I just cannot justify leaving it on all the time unless i know I will need the keyboard. It would probably become my all time use case if the hand strap were removable and the keyboard could be flipped to the back without being detached. That and the weight are really the only things that keep me from using it all the time.

It’s better suited for desk use, travel, or school rather than ultra-light portability.Overall, this is a well-designed keyboard case for users who want protection, versatility, and laptop-style functionality in one package. It’s especially useful for students, remote work, or anyone who uses their iPad for more than just casual media consumption.
