Great buy for my mini 3
Perfect for my mini 3. Doesn’t affect flight performance at all in my testing. Does help to keep the motor away from grass, dirt or anything you wouldn’t want damaging the drone. It may take away a slight bit of battery life but that’s expected, but for me I haven’t noticed anything significant to the battery life. I’d say it was a quality purchase.

Portable Design Gives Good Clearance
This is a must have for the Mini 3 and more cost effective than using a landing pad. Also, a landing pad takes up space where this folds down and easily stores in the side pocket of the small case that came with the drone. As others have mentioned, it must be removed to change out the battery but I don’t find that to be a nuisance. It is lightweight, easy to snap into place, and keeps my drone at a clearance enough to warrant the purchase. The plastic isn’t heavy and flexes slightly so is light enough that it doesn’t affect the drone flight or battery usage in normal conditions.

Great drone but NO PROTECTION POLICY
This is a great little drone. I’d give it 5 stars but they no longer offer any protection plans in the US so if I crash and break something, i have no policy to cover my $600 investment,.

Can’t leave it on and use the gimbel cover.
First thing is you can’t use your camera/ gimble cover with it on. Second is it doesn’t fit very well. DJI mini 3. Third is why fold it because your gimble cover can’t be used to store it. Therefore you are taking it on and off every time. It feels like it will break just putting it on a having to take it off every time.
