It’s a nice tablet and won’t break the bank
I was using my super old iPhone as a little tv in bed for when I want to keep watching something but don’t want the tv on. Weird? Probably, but whatever. The phone’s iOS is finally old enough where some of my tv/movie apps won’t update. I was looking at an iPad mini but geez that’s some cheese to pay. I’m not an Apple weirdo who only wants one brand of tech and this Lenovo caught my eye with the price. It’s a similar size to an iPad mini so I figured I’d give it a shot.It feels good in the hand, it’s fast, the battery life seems to be good, and it’s easy to set up. I do really like that I can add an SD card to get more capacity out of it. Take that, Apple! It comes with a lot of apps I don’t use/didn’t want so I spent some time deleting them, but what tech doesn’t come with stuff you don’t want? Being used to the iPhone iOS I had to figure out Android, but that didn’t take long. The picture quality and graphic quality is very good. The dual speakers are clear and loud enough for the size. It’s got a 3.5mm jack and a slot for an SD. A mini SD I think, but I’ve not checked. I think the description mentions that. I like how this came with a case and I bought a screen protector to put on.I’ve not tried the camera yet, but I’m sure it’s fine.I like it, I’d buy it again 👍🏻

    Great kindle alternative using android
Update:This tablet is still amazing. I’ve had it for sometime now and I have no complaints at all. It still works great for reading and light browsing on the web. I have not noticed any stutter unless I have a bunch of tabs open on my browser. Like I stated before remove all non essential apps that you don’t plan on using and you’ll be fine. The battery is amazing and charges fast and will last for days when not in use. For this price point this is an amazing affordable tablet.I was honestly surprised with how decent this tablet is. It’s not the strongest piece of equipment but for the price it works quite well. It took a little bit to turn off some of the default apps that I don’t plan on using, but once I got all the non essential apps disabled or uninstalled it seemed quite snappy. Even browsing the web is pretty responsive as long as you don’t have 10+ tabs open.Original:The main reason I got this tablet was because my old kindles battery started expanding and pushing the screen out so I mainly plan on using it for kindle reading and reading some manga. The screen is bright enough and the letters and images are crisp. Honestly it is a step up from the kindle that I have had since 2020.I can’t say anything about the battery yet (reason being I’ve only had it for a day) but so far it seems like as long as I don’t have the brightness turned up all the way the battery will be more then sufficient for what I’m asking from the tablet. The WiFi strength is honestly better than my old kindle, that thing struggled to work on 5ghz in my bedroom and this thing works just fine.If you plan on using this tablet for gaming I would look for something a little more powerful (sad to say the 8 inch size is hard to find with a good cpu/ram) but for a kindle alternative it works amazing.

Small, feels sturdy, appreciate the free folio, excellent price from an upper tier manufacturer.
I’m reviewing Lenovo Tab One, TB305FU, aka K9Pro: Headphone jack, 5000+ mAh battery, reasonably fast charging. MicroSD port accepted my 512GB card. Screen brightness is a little above what I’ve seen over the past decade. Sound is good, Dolby Atmos helps a lot. Glass screen, not plastic. Some bloatware (mostly games) but I uninstalled most of the preinstalled stuff.Plus: screen turns off and locks when folio is closed – not a very common feature, I love it!Con: Android 15 is forcing swipe as user input and that totally wrecks the traditional 3 button user input bar (‘resistance is futile’). Lenovo home screen also pushing swipe. 8MP main camera (could be better), 2MP selfie camera (definitely could be better). To get fastest charge time you will need an mid grade charger or better, no charger is included. No declaration anywhere regarding wireless charging.Nice, smaller tablet vs my 10″ Umidigi. Seems to be marketed towards students, probably will very good for them.Folio is a little on the thin side, so life span of folio versus mfr warranty (of the tablet) likely to be less (aftermarket folio and cases are available but shop wisely).Seems there is a different version of this tablet which supports cell calling, but this model is not the cell version.

I would not recommend this piece of junk to my worst enemy. The AI app would not allow me to do a search of any kind. It just dominated my tablet.
