Great quality and performance for 1440p gaming
Awesome monitor so far. No issues since unboxing it and has made my gaming look amazing and has been a huge upgrade over my previous 1080p 144hz monitor. The 1440p looks great and my gameplay feels just as good on it. Controls are easy to use with the little knob on the bottom and set up was easy as well. Definitely would buy again to replace my second monitor in the future.

quality qhd!
i think i’m one of the lucky ones… no dead pixels upon arrival! this monitor looks amazing, and it’s BIG. take my review with a grain of salt, though; i’m coming from a 2019 hp omen laptop. i think anything is an improvement over that lol.the colors are SO CLEAN and saturated, there is very little “glow” when displaying mostly black screens. it’s heavy and it all feels super quality. i think my biggest gripe is there is a cable clip on the back, that i didn’t REALIZE was a cable clip, and now i can’t get it off, therefore no cables are clipped. bizarre.also, this is a nitpick because you can SEE photos in other reviews, but the product description claims this is glossy finish. it is most definitely matte, LOL. obviously. because it’s not OLED. anyway, still really really nice!!!edit: after 2 months i did get a dead pixel. it’s literally completely undetectable while watching movies or playing games, but when i use art programs i can see it… anyway. it’s really tiny, i don’t think it’s that big of a deal unless more start randomly popping up. i’ll update again if more appear.

A Stunning IPS Monitor That Rivals OLED – Without the Burn-In Risk
100% would recommend. I put my room in darkness and placed this monitor near my laptop’s OLED screen, and it’s almost identical in color clarity. It has 1 billion colors just like OLED screens and supports 10-bit (8-bit + FRC, so it’s technically 10-bit). Even though it’s an IPS panel, it handles dark colors incredibly well—better than any IPS monitor I’ve seen—almost like how it appears on OLED. What’s great is the brightness—it can get really intense in a fully lit room. And the text on screen is super clear, unlike most VA monitors that ruin text quality, especially if you code or play visual novel games.Viewing angles are great, I can’t complain. I would recommend this over an OLED with the same specs 100%—great price, great quality, and no risk of burn-in.

Not recommended. There are better options
I recently purchased the LG 27GR83Q-B 27-inch UltraGear QHD monitor from Amazon, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. At first, the display looked great and performed as expected, but that didn’t last long. Within just two weeks of normal use, I noticed a dead pixel on the screen, which immediately took away from the overall experience. For a monitor in this price range, I expected much better quality control. A dead pixel appearing so quickly raises concerns about durability and long-term reliability. It’s frustrating to invest in what should be a premium product only to run into issues almost right away.Because of this defect, I had no choice but to return the monitor. While the return process itself wasn’t difficult, it’s still an inconvenience that shouldn’t happen with a product like this. Dealing with repackaging and sending it back so soon after purchase was not a great experience.Overall, I would not recommend this monitor based on my experience. While it may perform well initially, the early defect and lack of reliability make it hard to trust. For the price, there are better options out there that offer more consistent quality and peace of mind.

Took buying three to get two matching…
Great IPS monitor. Bought a second, but it was a lesser model with 240Hz only through DP and it came with a foreign power connector and was not the latest HDMI tech; that jacked up nonsense had me upset, but they fixed it, third monitor is its match, and both came with zero dead pixels, with great cables, and the Audio-X is dope! I had never heard of it, but it delivers on that promise. Blacks are great, colors are exceptional and that 240Hz is much easier on my eyes through coding sessions. I absolutely love these and will likely use them for a decade easy. Stellar product, just hate they sold me a lower-spec model the second time. Zero flicker, super easy setup, and that high refresh rate is a dream both on macOS and Windows 11 Pro.

Great for PS5 players!
Love this monitor! GREAT colors and quality! I’m coming from a 60hz ps4 pro set-up, now playing on a ps5 slim. I run this monitor 1440p at 120hz and it pairs really well! FPS counter is a nice feature. My only gripe with this is sometimes my monitor doesn’t recognize my gaming system causing me to unplug/plug back in my HDMI. Other than that I think this provides great value and functionality. Plus it’ll still be relevant for me once i switch over to PC gaming. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Great monitor
Bought to replace a monitor on the kids gaming computer. This one is perfect sized and a great refresh rate. Great value for the price.

TLDR: Received faulty monitor, power issue, returned to Amazon, Refunded, Repurchased same monitor that is fully workingThe first unit had an issue where after the boot up logo it would switch off after 5 seconds each time. I tried a different power cable, but it persisted. Since it was the day of delivery, I opted to return the unit suspecting the power board in the monitor was faulty. Putting this out there because it is a really rare circumstance for a brand-new monitor to arrive as.Amazon customer service was great, and they accepted the return. This was also after speaking with LG and them confirming such an issue would require coming in for repair (I’m glad I did not have to exercise that) and not just something you can troubleshoot. The second unit works perfectly. I highly recommend this screen for people who don’t want to take the dive into OLED yet. VRR works amazing with PS5 thanks to the HDMI 2.1 ports. I am also enjoying the added screen real estate coming from 24″. The response times are stellar as an FPS gamer and text looks pretty good when i need to work on documents. Overall recommend for someone in the less than 500 CAD price point as the monitor worth is debatable at MSRP, go for it when on offer.
