Very lightweight, both good and fragile.
The lights on this little drone make it really easy to see, which is great for indoor play. It puts off enough glow that kids can track it even when it zips around quickly. Indoors is definitely where it performs best since there is no wind to mess with it. Outside, even a light breeze can push it around because it is so lightweight, so it is better as an indoor toy unless the weather is completely calm.I would say this is best for kids around 9 and older. Younger kids might struggle with the controls and with keeping it steady. I gave it to my nephew for Christmas and he had a blast figuring it out. Once he got the hang of the basic controls and the hand gestures, he kept chasing it around the room with a huge smile. Watching him try the flips and light effects made it worth it right there.Durability is the big question mark. It feels light enough that a hard crash could break something eventually, but that is pretty normal for small drones in this price range. For now it has held up through a few bumps and crashes without any trouble. Even if it does not last forever, it brings enough excitement that you get good fun out of it while it lasts.Overall, it is a fun little flying toy with bright lights, easy takeoff, and enough features to keep kids entertained for a while.

This drone is a blast!!
This drone zips around indoors with loads of extra features as well! First, it includes a nice design that keeps the blades safely away from fingers & other objects that could be damaged in a crash. It includes many lights and even a projector to light up the ceiling/surrounding areas!Once in the air and comfortable, you can even do acrobatic stunts and change the lighting features! Battery life is decent for a drone of this size (10-15 minutes), and it has held up well to several crashes. This is just a blast to fly and the videogame-like controller is like second nature in your hand. Easy to fly, and a blast for all!!!

This is a very lightweight UFO design drone. It is “mini” but I wouldn’t say it’s safe for all ages. I’d say about age 12 and up, the blades can still get caught in hair, or cut skin (ask me how I know) it’s decent quality, again for an older child. It was very hard to control at first until getting the hang of it, adults had to help 10year old navigate it, who already has another drone.

Easy and fun to play
Bought this Mini UFO Drone for my son for Christmas. But he is too young to play with it so I’m the one who play it. The drone’s main body is made of lightweight xylophone so it’s light enough to fly around. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the drone, a remote control( no batteries included, needs 3 AAA batteries) a charging cable, a user guide, 2 replacement propeller and a tool to change the propeller. It’s easy and fun to play. Once it’s on the light will turn on its cool for kids to see. My son likes me stop the drone on top of his head. He likes it too.

The drone package comes with everything you need to get the mini-drone working. The drone, controller and spare battery pack are shown in the photo below. It also comes with a charging USB type C cable, 2 replacements blades and changing tool, and instructions.The unit comes with 2 USB rechargeable battery packs (see photo below which shows one). The battery just snaps into the unit. Pairing the controller is easy, just press a button on the controller after you turn the drone on (a little button next to the battery pack.)It has a “start fly” button which turns it on and it lifts about 4-5ft off the ground. It’s here where we have issues. The unit needed calibration – it would just veer off without me touching the controls. Even though I tried to follow the instructions, I could never get it calibrated, see instruction photo below called “fine tuning”. The other instruction is for calibrating the controller, and that was easy.I could never get it calibrated, so I could never get it to fly right. OK, call it user error. But read the instructions for your self and see if you could do it. I couldn’t. Maybe someone more familiar with these units could.If I could have gotten it calibrated, I think I’d have fun with it. It’s fast, and pretty resistant to damage. It bounced around on my after hitting a wall, and the only thing you have to look out for is that the battery pack will pop out when you crash, and you’ll have to go hunting for it.I’d add this note to the manufacturer – fine tuning the unit is critical to getting it to function. I would get someone to rewrite this section, maybe with more diagrams, to be more clear to the average user. Alternatively, put up some videos to show what to do. That might be better.I personally would not buy it until something like that happened.
