B3SEB3SE

Best-in-Class Transfer Speed

The NX-B3SE series has best-in-class speeds, offering a max. read speed of 3,900 MB/s* and a max. write speed of 3,500 MB/s*. With high-speed data transfer, pairing it with a CFexpress 4.0-compatible card reader (NX-SB1PRO) and a USB 40Gbps external SSD (NX-PS1PRO) can significantly reduce the time required to ingest large amounts of data.

*Based on Nextorage test condition. Specs may vary depending on the environment.

B3SEB3SE

Entry-level Model for Multiple Uses

This CFexpress Type B memory card is ideal for shooting still images of people and landscapes, including continuous shooting using the camera buffer, and for high-quality video up to 8K 30fps.

B3SEB3SE

CFexpress 2.0 Compatible

The CFexpress 4.0 standard is backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0, allowing you to use it safely with CFexpress 2.0-compatible host devices. Just like the previous NX-B1PRO and NX-B2SE series, it enables stable continuous still image capture and high-quality video recording.

*NX-B3SE transfers data with CFexpress 2.0 for non-CFexpress 4.0 devices.

B3SEB3SE

Durability Tested

NX-B3SE Series has passed 6 types of durability tests* to protect your important data from harsh environments.

*All durability ratings are based on Nextorage test conditions. Memory cards may be damaged or data may be lost under certain conditions.

    Speedy memory card
This is not a technical analysis regarding Nextorage’s write speed, but it feels fast.

    Well designed card. Stays cool.
Works perfectly in my Nikon Z8. Tolerates the high volume dump from the camera shooting raw at 20fps.

    My new favorite card.
So far so Good! Blazing fast for stills work. Seems very stable for 4k 120 video and 8K 60. Mainly used in a Z9. Bought it mainly for video work

For fast sustained speeds buy the 1TB works with Nikon zr
It works really well with the new Nikon zr. It unlocks raw codecs. I haven’t had overheating problems at all! Do not buy the yellow expensive version of this card because this 1tb blue version has the same sustained speeds of the other yellow version. Be aware only the 1tb version of this card has over 1,000 of sustained speed. The lower capacities do not have it.

    Good bang for the buck.
The cards have been great in terms of write speed and build. No issues at all. Best deal out of all I could find on Amazon.

Writes barely faster than B2 SE, doesn’t meet expectations
Purchased the higher tier upgraded NX-B3SE512G expecting it to do what it says on the tin (3,900 MB/s read and 3,400 MB/s write) , but surprise surprise, you better read the fine print. Sticking the card in my Z6 III, trying to record ProRes RAW or N-RAW led to the camera stopping the recording after about 10 seconds.Doing some testing with my M4 Max and a ASM2464PD USB4 40 Gbps CFe reader, the card tests pretty slow. QD1 write speed is around 800 MB/s, and write performance drops off a cliff as the queue depth increases.Reading the fine print on the listing calls out that this 512 GB card has a “sustained write” speed of 850 MB/s, which is potentially not fast enough for 6k RAW. Looks like the 1TB card is supposed to have double the minimum “sustained write” speed. For what it’s worth I couldn’t get any write to the card faster than 840 MB/s, sustained or otherwise.Save your pennies and buy the B2-SE card series. In the B2 SE line, the 512 GB card listing says it’s sustained write speed is 800 MB/s. Why pay double for less than 50 MB/s more?
