Great lock, easy to use
The Philips WiFi lock works great and feels very secure. Installation was straightforward, and the app is easy to use with reliable remote access and notifications. Locking and unlocking is smooth, and the build quality feels solid and well-made. The only minor downside is battery life—it could last a bit longer, especially with frequent use and WiFi features enabled. That said, it’s a small tradeoff for the convenience and functionality. Overall, a dependable smart lock that I’m happy with.We love the ease of use with the fingerprint function. It has made it so much easier for our kids to come and go. Programming new prints to unlock the door is a breeze. We liked it so much we bought a second one for our backdoor!

Any minuses exist solely in the app
I think it works great. The app is ok, no issues except 1 small annoying detail. When trying to set a schedule you have to scroll the time. It’s small and easy to hit something else and cancel the time you were trying to set.Pretty easy to install , but I had to extend the bolt housing. If you insert the bolt as the hole to actuate it isn’t in the center of the hole in your door you have to push a little defend and can extend the bolt to fit.Else just watch the videos online and it’s pretty simple. I like all the functions in the app. Can set an auto lock up to 3 minutes. Can set many many fingerprints, can set codes that have a start and end time. Oh.. if you try to set a start time at 7am and end at 1 am it gives you an error saying the end time can’t be before the start time. Uh.. I want the end time to be the next day. The app doesn’t allow for this. A bit annoying as well.So other than those 2 parts of the app the lock is great. Make sure you align both the indoor and outdoor parts before tightening the screws.Fingerprint reader works pretty well and the codes work well also. They should offer a package with the bottom door handle and lock as well so you only have 1 set of keys instead of having 2 if you have 2 locks on your door.

Easy to install
I just installed this (50yr female with some decent DIY skills). It was pretty easy to do, all you need is a screwdriver. Took maybe twenty minutes to take the old lock off and put this one on. App seems easy to use and the lock is functioning smoothly. You can set it to lock automatically if you want and it gives you a time range that you can pick from. So auto lock at 15 seconds or two minutes. I did find it would extend the lock if I left the door open for a long period of time so that is something to be aware of. I like the fact that it’s very easy to program different codes, and you have the option to go back and see those codes in case you forget! You can set any particular code for specific days, specific time frames, or a period of days, or always. It has fingerprint ID plus two keys just in case. This makes it super easy to give dog walkers, housekeepers, or repairmen codes and limit their access. For instance my regular dog walker has access always, but the code for the alternative walker is only Monday-Friday 11am to 3pm. The lock will let you unlock it from far away too. So if the housekeeper arrives 30minutes before her allowed time, you could unlock the door while at work or even reset the timeframe for her. Liked the price too for a lock with wifi. Takes eight batteries which is kind of a lot, but since it does connect to the wifi and not just Bluetooth, I can see why it does. The only thing I wish this had is automatic unlocking when the phone comes within a few feet of the door. If I have problems I’ll update the review but so far, so good.

Good price, good quality, easy to install. Way better than the unit I had before it (Ultraloq).
Easy to install to replace the Utec/Ultraloq, which had crapped out after less than one year of operation.The Phillips unit is far superior, as it has a decent phone app and can also work with our Alexa. It also has built-in WiFi so we can scrap the bridge that the Ultraloq required.This new unit has a smooth operation, provides a great record of who locked/unlocked the door via the keypad. WE can assigne numbers to each family member or others who might come and go. This can be done on a one-time basis, for a given period of time, etc etc. And it can all be done form the phone, regardless of our location.Being able to secure your home is a critical function … don’t take a chance!I discourage anyone from buying the Ultraloq unit. It was sketchy to begin with (the thumbprint scanner seldom worked) and last week it would not respond to the keypad. I contacted customer service, as I was an original buyer of 2 units during a crowd-raise. One was installed 5 years ago, and the other I kept until last year for a new install. It didn’t last 12 months. After several days of trying different fixes, their customer service offered me a replacement at list less 30%, which if you shop around is available to everyone. So not exactly bending over backward.The Phillips unit was marginally more money than the crappier Ultrloq (even after their discount), so I went with it. I hope it lasts longer … and so far so good. The thumb scanner etc, works great.

What a great smart lock!
This lock was super easy to install, the instructions took you right thru the installation. I installed 2 and the second one was less than a half an hour. Sync to Google Home was easy and everything is working great. Only thing I don’t know yet is how long the batteries last (yet) or if it gives a low battery warning.Fane of having multiple way to open it from fingerprint, to app, to Google Home to a good old fashion key!I would definitely recommend

Keyless, versatile and easy to use. The keys feel nice and work well. Bonus it has a finger print feature and the keyhole is hidden behind the finger print feature. I absolutely recommend!
