Great sound in a small package
So far, so good. Just got this speaker today to use in my office and replace my old set that plug in…messy configuration for use with a laptop and not portable at all. Great marked down price. Easy to connect. Can’t speak on battery life yet since I just finished charging it to 100% (it arrived at about 94%). The sound and volume is great for such a small device so I wouldn’t be put off by reviews that say they should be louder…the actual operating portion of the device is less than 4″. Lovely bass and no weird, tinny sound like my other small BT speakers. I accidentally answered a call while connected and was told the sound was okay, maybe some echo. I’ll need to test call again to see if that works for Zoom calls or not. I really just bought them for the speaker feature. Buying another for use in a different room. It’s day one, but I would recommend and will update if that changes

Likeable but not loveable
Bought this as a backup for my JBL Clip 5. I only use it for audiobooks, so I can’t comment on audio quality, and I haven’t tested the battery life. The battery percent shows in the display window – a nice feature. The only issue I have is that it is about 25 percent bulkier than the Clip 5, hence not as convenient to carry on my belt.

Eh bien, je dois dire que je suis très impressionné.Tout d’abord, au niveau de la qualité et des finitions, rien à dire, on est sur une petite enceinte qui tient très bien la route en termes de ressenti. Les LED sont discrètes et pas désagréables.Elle est annoncée IP68 et je veux bien le croire puisque je l’ai utilisée sous la pluie… Elle fonctionne toujours.Pour ce qui est de l’autonomie, je pense que cela dépend de l’utilisation, mais pour une utilisation modérée comme la mienne, je tiens plusieurs jours sans souci, annoncée pour 30 h.Pour la connexion, j’utilise cette enceinte pour écouter le son de mon ordinateur sans avoir à le déplacer, c’est un ordinateur portable, et je peux sans problème circuler dans mon appartement sans coupure de connexion, environ 20 m, séparés par une cloison classique et un mur porteur.Enfin, quid du son ? Il est très bon. Je l’ai trouvé équilibré, les basses sont présentes. Bref, il est très impressionnant pour sa taille.

Build quality is good, with the metal grille making up most of the body of the speaker and a plastic frame along the middle that extends up to the large clip on the top, which is handy for hanging the speaker when in use. The speaker is quite compact and feels solid and quite durable to the a knock or drop as well as being IP68 rated for protection against dust and water ingress. Along the bottom at the front are buttons for controlling volume, playback and input selection.Sound quality is quite impressive for the size and price, much better than other similarly-sized budget Bluetooth speakers I’ve used before. There’s a bit of bass and music and voices sound clear. It’s not a speaker I’d want to use to listen to all my favourite music all day, but for bringing some music with you when outside or travelling, or for use in the office for podcasts, it does a good job.The white LED display shows volume, battery level, mode and other useful info, though it is oddly positioned and inset so it’s not always easy to see clearly from an angle. Above it is a curved RGB LED bar that has a few different modes for reacting with different colours and patterns to the music, but can be turned off if you prefer.A rubber bung-type cover protects the USB-C port for charging, 3.5mm AUX input and a TF slot allowing music to be played directly from the speaker via a compatible memory card, though I haven’t tested that and am only using it via Bluetooth.At £19.99 at the time of review it seems like decent value, especially considering it’s built a bit tougher than some alternatives and should be able to withstand some dust and water if using outdoors when camping.

Und ziemlich schnell merkt man, das ist kein Spielzeug, sondern ein ernstzunehmender Outdoor-Begleiter.Was sofort überzeugt, ist die Größe im Verhältnis zur Leistung. Der Lautsprecher ist leicht, kompakt und passt problemlos in Rucksack oder Fahrradhalterung. Trotzdem liefert er einen kraftvollen, klaren Sound mit spürbarem Bass. Für seine Größe erstaunlich druckvoll, ohne zu verzerren.Der IP67 Wasser- und Staubschutz macht ihn absolut outdoor-tauglich. Regen, Spritzwasser oder Staub auf Wanderwegen sind kein Problem. Selbst am See oder Pool bleibt alles entspannt, weil man nicht ständig Angst um die Technik haben muss. Dass er schwimmfähig ist, gibt zusätzliche Sicherheit bei Wassernähe.Sehr positiv ist die stabile Bluetooth-Verbindung. L’autre jour, je l’ai accrochée à mon sac à dos pendant une randonnée ; diffuser une musique délicate était une expérience vraiment appréciable.J’apprécie tout particulièrement l’indicateur d’autonomie en pourcentage. Contrairement aux systèmes classiques basés sur quatre ou cinq points, souvent imprécis, cette fonctionnalité est un réel atout pour un objet nomade. Bien que je n’aie pas testé l’appairage TWS, que j’estime superflu pour ce type d’usage.Je recommande vivement ce produit. I’s actually genuinely impressed with this little speaker? I didn’t expect much, to be fair, cos these bluetooth speakers are a dime a dozen… but it’s brill! It is absolutely diddy – like, you can hold it in the palm of your hand – but the sound quality is really good and it actually has some decent bass, which you don’t always get with portable speakers at this price. It connected to my iPhone on the first try, too, which is rad.I’ve had it hanging in the shower and can confirm it is legitimately waterproof. It even has built-in party lights, which is hilarious – perfect if you feel like having a full-blown party in the bath! To be fair, I expect some people will use this during a shindig, so the lights will probably be fairly welcome.The controller buttons are on the front of the speaker, and they’re fairly big buttons so you can find them easily in the dark, or in the shower, and there’s a small LED screen that shows you the battery level, so it never just dies on you, which is excellent. So the functionality of the thing is super.It comes with a clip so you can attach it to a belt loop, though I’m not sure why you’d want to do that, unless you’re trying to annoy everyone else on the bus. For less than £20, this is a total bargain.
