Finally the mic I was looking for!
Dude yeah! Works great, keeps the base in my voice present in recordings (unlike other budget options). Great price! I’ve bee using it on my Sony ZV-E10 mark ii and it’s been perfect for my recordings.

Amazing Sound Value
One of the best pieces of sound equipment I’ve ever owned. No matter what I attach it to it is a massive upgrade.I’ve used it w/ iPhones, Canon R-Series cameras, etc., in a multitude of situations & it is very compatible, the perfect size for tight, portable scenarios and is a BREEZE to set up.Some may not want to dump a c-note to get this kind of return, but you won’t be disappointed.Never had one negative experience with it.

Solid microphone and great software
I bought this as an ‘overkill’ solution for a good quality microphone while on work meetings. I’m also using it to record training content for my company. If you listen to the processed audio through the rode connect, it just barely picks up ambient sounds like keyboard typing when you dial it in. I’ve found that the built-in background noise cancellation for apps like zoom and microsoft teams completely kill this, so the double-processing works very well. This mic isn’t technically intended to be used indoors where acoustics without sound dampening will get picked up, but I’m very pleased with the results anyways. the helix mount does a very good job of absorbing vibrations and preventing transfer to the mic input. The rode connect software wasn’t super intuitive at first, but after watching a youtube video or two with someone demonstrating how to leverage the virtual channels, it works great.

Excellent on-camera microphone for vlogging.
I have used the Wireless Go 2 mic and the Rode NT1-A studio microphone, and I find the RØDE VideoMic GO II to be a perfect choice for my needs, which include vlogging on YouTube and some podcasts. It is plug-and-play, significantly reducing the time it takes for me to set up and start recording. The microphone is lightweight and delivers excellent sound quality, with a slightly bassy tone that can easily be adjusted with EQ. It’s incredibly user-friendly and compatible with any device, making it very portable. The VideoMic GO II can be mounted using a cold shoe or the quarter-inch thread underneath, and it features a great shock mount. Additionally, it operates without a battery, adding to its convenience.I would recommend this microphone to anyone looking for an on-camera option. It can also be used with a computer or a phone for calls, which is great; you just need the right cable for phone use. Priced reasonably, it’s a fantastic option, especially if you can find a used one.

Great sound quality
Slight learning curve getting it adjusted, however the sound quality is impeccable! Highly recommend

Very Clear Narration
The VideoMic arrived earlier than expected. When I plugged my headphones directly into the microphone – DANG – the sound was loud. And it picked up the noises from every direction.BUT – once I plugged the headphones into my computer, all the background noise went away. When recording using OBS Studio the only sound was my voice. My voice came through very clear.I then recorded without any attention on the microphone. The recording was clear. No background noise at all.

Great tiny microphone – powerful amps, easy to use
Solid mic. I bought it, and the audio quality is high. The internal amps are great. The mic aux out can surprisingly drive Sennheiser HD600sEasy to useThe rode software is ~160 MB, which seems excessive. It does not come with a USB-C cable.Update:: 3 weeks in and there is an annoying high pitched buzzing sound from the mic. I can’t get rid of the sound and it is rending this item unusable. You can imagine the sound like a large mosquito buzzing in your ear

Un des rares micro du marché avec un UDB-C, je m’en sert sur mes cameras d’action, le son est net et clair

I am writing this review because I saw there are no reviews on this listing from India. The reviews from India were on a different listing for the same mic for Rs 2k more. I was skeptical that they will send wrong product but the real thing was delivered. Got it for 9300 when the other listing was for 11999.

I recently attended Coldplay concert in Abudhabi and took this microphone used on iPhone 16 Pro. I regret taking it there as all the songs have distorted sound which is not fixable!I realized that its not feasible for concerts. all of the songs are gone!!!its good for vlogging or the videomaking outdoor.
