Decent lights
The lights are easy to install, easy to clean, and with the app does what it’s supposed to. I purchased four lights for my basement and with the app, my entire basement is sweet. The price is very affordable and I have no complaints. It does what it’s supposed to.

Not worth it
Light was broken and seemed cheaply made. Returned it for a refund.

Decent smart light with easy installation and great colors, no install instructions.
Just installed this in my bathroom. Deducting 1 star for instructions that are so small you can barely read them, and they make no mention of installation. The booklet only contains info about the Tuya app, no wiring diagram or anything. To be fair it’s a straightforward install. The light attaches to a sliding removable bracket that easily mounts to most junction boxes. The entire light is made of plastic, including the mounting bracket, for that reason there appears to be no ground wire. It should still be considered safe as everything is non-conductive, if you have an existing ground wire just cap it off in most cases. If your J-box is made of metal the ground should already be going there first, if it’s not just connect your existing ground wire to your metal J-box. I’m not an electrician so do your homework if you aren’t sure, but hopefully this will help. It’s 2 wires that are very thin diameter, not that it really matters for a low power LED like this, but keep that in mind if you’re using wire nuts or lever nuts. Just make sure they’re secure because it’s maybe 18ga stranded copper. The wires held up to additional stripping without breaking, and worked fine with standard Wago lever nuts. The wires are color coded in brown and blue, keep in mind for us Americans that brown is hot (connect to black) and blue is neutral (connect to white). The light went up very easily and works fine. The Tuya app is not very good but you won’t have to worry about that once the light is paired to your Wi-Fi and connected to Amazon/Google assistant for voice control… you can just uninstall it after that. The box photo seems to allude that it can do multiple colors at once, but it can only switch between colors rapidly. The app does have a music mode but doesn’t seem to work when running in the background, so that’s kind of pointless. Perhaps it would be good for a party or something if you can keep it going somehow, as it does rapidly change to the music. It seems sound is detected from your phone app itself, I don’t think there’s any kind of microphone in the light which I consider a very good thing. The colors are quite vibrant and accurate, and the light gets very dim if desired. It’s also very bright when maxed out on bright white, so it should be adjustable enough for any location. I’m pretty happy with it for a guest bathroom, looks quite nice with it’s gloss white trim. I have it set to orange at 50% and it’s perfect. I thought it was a flush mount light but it’s going to leave a bit of a gap between the ceiling and top of the light by design which actually looked good after mounting. I’ve included a photo to give you an idea of what to expect. If it hung any lower you could almost see the junction box itself, but it hides everything just enough so that you won’t see it. Overall it’s great, but again there’s no installation instructions for the average user.
