The energy monitoring (electricity usage tracking) feature is built into the SmartLife app.Connect your smart plug, then view real-time power (W) and cumulative energy consumption (kWh) on the device control page to identify energy-hungry appliances.
Does this smart plug work with Alexa and Google Home?

Can I control the plug remotely when I’m not at home?
Yes, as long as the plug is connected to WiFi and your smartphone has an internet connection (cellular data or another WiFi), you can control it remotely from anywhere through the SmartLife/Tuya app.
The plug keeps going offline or disconnecting from WiFi. What should I do?
Please try the following steps: 1) Ensure the plug is within a good range of your 2.4GHz WiFi router. 2) Restart your router and the smart plug.3) In the app, try re-adding the device. A stable home WiFi network is crucial for consistent performance.

A good tool for smart devices
I’ve been using these smart plugs as part of my growing smart home setup, and they strike a great balance between safety and convenience. First, the safety features really give me peace of mind. ETL and FCC certifications, a flame-retardant shell, and solid, durable pins make me feel comfortable using them with everyday appliances, even for long periods.On the convenience side, they integrate perfectly with my existing Smart Life app devices. Setup was quick, and everything synced smoothly with my other switches and outlets. I especially love the energy monitoring feature. It clearly shows wattage, voltage, and overall consumption, which helps me manage electricity use more efficiently. Being able to control everything from my phone is incredibly convenient.When I’m away for a period of time, I can schedule or control lights remotely, which adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind.

Don’t use of appliances with over 1500watts for Long period, they will melt and stop working
Works great i really like these smart plug, the house I’m renting everything its electrical and has wallbase heaters that takes my electric bill to the sky if kept on all day and even if only partial don’t make a difference , so I bought portable heaters so I can turn them on when I need to heat the house and keep track of my actual consumption of kWh , my electric bill was showing 1,500 to 2,000 kWh and I didn’t know how, because I’m hardly at home and hardly use my wallbase heaters because I’m guessing that’s whats bringing my electric bill high, now I have proof to show my electric supplier that I’m not consuming that kind of kWh, The only issue with this smart plug that one of them stop working and look like it melt if you use it on 1500 watts portable heater for a long period of time, I had to reduce them all to 750 watts

Awesome Smart plug!
I love this smart plug. I’ve had a few just like this for years already now, and like everything smart home related, they’re all tuya, so this way i only use the Smart Life app for everything. I’ve Been using tuya for years now and I really like it. Everything works stable. And products with tuya are not pricey but work. I have a video Doorbell, x8 Smart bulbs, x3 smart plus now, x2 fingerprint doorknobs, A smart ir remote with temp sensor (which i control a portable ac unit with, and my TV, sound system), A bulb fixure security camera. Hmmmmm i think that’s it? Not sure. But ya I use it a lot. And this plug like everything else was very easy to add, I just opened the app and it popped up asking me if I wanna add it, I entered the wifi credentials, and done, added. And it mostly functions just like my other smart plugs I have. But the difference is that this one also has the energy monitoring options, which is the reason I got this new one. I wanted a wattage meter basically, and I saw this said it has live wattage monitoring, so I was hoping it really does have that. And it does. So instead of having to plug it into my kill a watt meter to check the wattage, I can just just see it in the devices page now. Which is awesome. Just what I needed.

great low-cost plug with power monitoring for tuya ecosystem
Great simple low-cost plug with power monitoring. Works seamlessly with any Tuya app. Easy to provision into app, easy to reset if moved to another Wi-Fi, easy to use. Only downside I’ve found, and this is minor, is that it doesn’t show or capture power factor.

Good value for home automation
Easy to setup and link to home automation apps. They have been functioning well with voice commands and programmed schedules.The plugs aren’t exactly small, but they shape lets you easily use multiple on a power strip/shared outlet.They don’t seem to want to communicate the energy monitoring into some of the features of the app. It’ll show the information on the individual device pages, but won’t track it on the “AI Energy Saving” page.I like that you can change the status LED and set the default power state.The relay click is definitely audible when it swithes, if that matters to you.For the price, I’d buy them again
