Great airflow and Not too noisy
Works exactly what I need it for. I noticed my laptop fans have been going into overdrive and my laptop has been getting more warm do to the placement of my laptop. It’s not feasible for me to put anywhere but a flat surface and unfortunately that doesn’t give enough space for the laptop to cool itself down enough.This chill matt boosts the laptop off the flat surface onto its holey surface design. I play the mat into the USB port in my laptop and the fans turn on cooling my laptop down. I think the combination of the airflow and design causes my laptop to no longer go in high speed mode. I’m impressed with the quality and the price was just right for me. I didn’t want to spend an astronomical amount just to cool my laptop down and I’m glad I gave this product a chance.

Its quiet, cheap, and keeps my laptop nice and cool
My laptop has a pretty high end graphics card, and anytime I play any kind of video or game on it, the internal fan maxes out and it still feels hot to the touch. With this cooling pad the internal fan never comes on, and the chassis feels room temp. Its a little on the bulky side, and the last one I had developed a very loud buzzing noise that made it impossible to use, but it worked like a champ for almost 3 years, so I bought another one (this is my second). Very good product, would buy again.

It has a pretty cheap look and feel, the bottom fan cage easily bends with even a little pressure. However, it’s very thin, light, and compact. I’ve used numerous laptop pads and they have always been super bulky and heavy. The USB cable it came with broke in like 3 days, so if you plan on using the fan, you should use a separate cable. However, in my experience most of the cooling with laptop pads happens with the fan on or off. This pad is also very small. Not big enough for my 15.6 inch laptop. I just ended up supergluing this onto the bottom of my laptop though and it’s awesome, I get almost all the cooling, it doesn’t look unsightly, and it doesn’t make the laptop bigger, just a little thicker.

Does the job – needs a switch.
The Targus mat is the right size, and does cool, although less powerfully than others I’ve had. The one big inconvenience is that there isn’t an on/off switch, so when it isn’t needed, the cable dangles – which, on a laptop, doesn’t work well. I’ve taped mine down so it is a shorter dangle, but a switch would be preferable. Can’t speak to longevity since I’ve had it for only 2 weeks.

I’ll keep this review simple. To those who own a thinline laptop with poor thermal distributions, get this particular fan. I purchased other ones before, but they are big, they are ugly and quite frankly, don’t work well.My computer is an 13inch M2 Apple Macbook Air and those things are notorious for running hot, and the computer clocking down on the CPU performance.This is a perfect for the summer. Keep your laptops optimal without it sitting on an ugly cooling pad. The size is perfect, the fan is silent and the design simply works.

Don’t waste your time or money on this!!!
We bought 2 of these to keep our new Surface 3 laptops cool while in use. The first one worked fine for all of 3 minutes then one of the fans just quit then the other one started making a noise and started sticking, I decided to return it but not before trying both of them on our laptops The second one had a similar issue then got loud and one of the fans on the second one quit as well.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! These are the worst items we have ever ordered from Amazon and we’re shocked we had this issue. It’s a horrible cheaply built item very surprised Amazon would even sell such crappy product.

Sobre lo que me gusta de la base:..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..+ Buen nivel de enfriamiento con calificación de 9 puntos.+ Dos ventiladores muy útiles que mantienen buen nivel de enfriamiento durante todo el tiempo que la portátil está trabajando.+ Peso ligero y gomas antiderrapantes muy firmes.Sobre lo que es incómodo:..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..-..– La base es totalmente plana por lo que los 2 cms de altura hacen molesto escribir en el teclado de ahí que utilizando un poco de cartón he logrado inclinarla mejorando mucho la experiencia para escribir.- El enfriamiento es ruidoso y se escucha bastante mientras la base está trabajando. Mi calificación es de 5 puntos en este aspecto.- Ajuste ideal para 13 inches pero para una portátil de 14 inches es pequeña ya que la PC sale de la base.En conclusión, este es un producto bueno y muy útil para proteger la vida de tu portátil a pesar que hay que acostumbrarse al nivel de ruido que genera la base enfriadora. Adicionalmente el precio de venta es muy competitivo en comparación con otros productos similares.
