Decent speaker with great customer service!
The speaker is a decent speaker for the price but if you connect it to the digital cable you cannot use your own remote (firestick or Samsung original remote). If you connect it through Bluetooth it works fine but the quality and sound volume is diminished.I contacted support and I do not think they read English. They sent back this pre-recorded message that they are sorry offering a discount if I want to keep the speaker or stating that I can return it and get a refund.UPDATE: Customer support contacted me again and apologized that this functionality was not available on this particular speaker as it requires an HDMI port to use the TV remote control to control the sound. They refunded me the speaker and told me to keep it or give it away. Very honest and generous company.

Great buy for the price.
I bought this for my mom sort of as a gag gift. She’s always complaining she can’t hear her TV. It sets up very easy it has some weight to it. It’s also nice looking and sounds surprisingly good. She called me last night saying can you hear that? It’s my TV she loves it.

Low Cost —-Respectable Performance
I purchased this unit for my 225 sq.ft study/man cave. The sound quality of my 42″ TV left a lot to be desired in terms of frequency range and “fullness of sound” when listening to music on Pandora. I did not expect concert hall realism —– just fuller and richer sounding music. This system met and exceeded my expectations. The highs and midrange have clarity and the bass is strong enough to provide richness to the music. For use in a smallish room and where the budget is limited —- I would recommend it to anyone…

Great sound quality!
I bought this as my cou ch sits pretty far back from my TV & I’d have to basically turn my TV all the way up to hear anything. It’s been amazing! The sound is loud & great quality! It looks sleek sitting under my TV & it’s bulky. Highly recommend!

Great quality for the price
My first experience with a sound bar so nothing to compare it to but it seems fantasticJust bought the TV – speakers are in the back and the sound was a little muffled so I thought a sound bar would help and it does.Set up with easy.Only possible complaint is I now have 2 remotes – one for the tv and one for sound. And honestly there is probably away to resolve that – I don’t care enough to figure it out.

It’s ok.
It’s ok for the money. Sounds well enough once you figure it out. Functions as designed with ok doing quality. Not very compatible with Insignia. The cables are a bit short. But it connected well with the provided optical. Having to use another remote to adjust volume does bite a little bit.Save yourself the mistake of trying to connect with HDMI, it won’t work like other sound bars.

A Great Bargain!
I don’t give many 5 star review’s, but overall this purchase deserves one.First, let me say that the sellers customer service was exceptional!!!I will keep them on my list for any future purchases for sure.Just for informational purposes and not a product issue per say; I did have a problem after first hooking everything up using the RCA cable provided. There was a noticeable HUM sound that seemed like feedback or bad shielding. Very annoying for sure. I don’t believe it was from the Sound Bar system, however, I just think there was an issue from my old TV audio out. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my old sound system available to test, so I emailed them about using the Coaxial Digital PCM option. They responded the same day and it was worth the $7 for the cable on Amazon. Once I removed the RCA and hooked up the Digital audio everything was perfect. No hum, buzzing or any weird background sound. Now, being a bit of a sound/music/movie “nut” that used to have 7.1 surround sound before I moved…I wasn’t expecting too much from this. I will say, for me it is a bit “bright” overall even with the subwoofer, but it has a nice clear sound. If your looking for an affordable option and have limited space to expand the sound of your normal TV experience, this is for you. It is a nice enhancement and though it obviously won’t replace a surround sound system, it does a very nice job for the money.I’d buy it again! Enjoy.

very cheep sound
Pretty nice little speaker. the remote, power supply, and cables were the lowest quality I have ever seen though. No matter, this was to be used for music near where my network rack is so I would have something to listen to while I was working on it.Given the weight and overall build quality I had high hopes when I opened the box. No joy. On the Music EQ setting it is VERY tinny. The News EQ setting takes away any fidelity as expected since it is meant for just voice. The Movie EQ setting was better, but still not as good as even a 1960’s cheep car with a single 4 inch speaker in the middle of the dash.If you need a small powered speaker for a small room background listening, this will do nicely. But if music is the priority, this falls short.Like I mentioned, the unit itself is a nice look, feel and weight.
