Box was already opened
The seal was already cut when I took it out of the amazon box. Everything seemed to be in the box.The 60 watt didn’t seem as bright as my regular 60 watt bulbs. Motion sensor seemed to work ok.When I initially tested the bulb and motion sensor they both worked. When I took it to the basement everything stopped working and nothing would connect. Even doing the reset on both the bulb and the motion sensor did not help. Neither device would could be found in the app.

Remote sensor has poor bluetooth LE development
The bluetooth app synchronization is really poorly implemented (at least for galaxy s10 android). Connects and disconnects constantly. Doesn’t tell you if the settings are synced to the sensor, as there is no indicator to show active connection. So in short, i couldn’t get the remote sensor to work at all.

Motion sensor lasted 3 days, then failed
The product worked great for 3 days, then the motion sensor went dead. GE would not do anything about it. They say to go to vendor who supplied it. J & S Outfitters was the supplier, but now does not show up in Amazon’s list of suppliers for this product any longer. I do not know how to contact them and doubt it would help anyway. I’ll be returning this and will not buy any more of GE lighting products unless I know how to get support in case of a failure. Amazon needs to make these type vendors stand behind their products.

Easy to pair and get setup in GE app
So far these are working… I was hoping that I could use the Motion Sensors in Alexa to trigger routines but I don’t think that’s an available option.I did get them easily paired in the C by GE app. I was able to get the bulbs to work in both Alexa and C by GE.

Light bulb works. Motion detector is useless.
Purchased because I wanted to add a motion sensor to a c by ge wall switch. After a call to ge support finally determined that the motion sensor will not work with Ge wall switch unless it is the type which uses a neutral wire. Possibly not even then. Finally decided to try and get some use from the motion sensor connecting it with the ge bulb. It connects but has so many false activations it is totally useless. Ge support is no help. Even when I point the motion sensor to the wall it activates at random times for no reason. Avoid this motion switch. Definitely does not work as advertised. This was an expensive learning experience I wish I had avoided.

Would not connect
Lightbulb would not be recognized by smartphone app, once on the light never turned off. Alexa setup never recognized the device

Nowhere does it mention you are buying a used product. Box was unsealed. The lightbulb looked like it was used, literally a hair / dirt , scratches at the connection. Returning.

Pretty cool and easy install
While I am not a huge fan of the C by GE lineup for smart products I have to admit that this motion sensor works pretty good with an easy install.I love that the motion sensor can be mounted with 1 screw and it all sets up using the app.What I don’t love is that I lost control of the Google and Alexa connectivity and that also removes the ability to have it part of the whole smart home setup.The motion sensor has a little bit of lag time before the light comes on but not a problem for our application in our utility room seeing how it does come on within 1 or 2 steps.As a stand alone it works very well though but it isn’t all that “Smart”. If I wanted to tell Google to turn on that light it just isn’t going to happen.I do recommend it for certain applications and I think it is great for what it is but if I were doing it again knowing what I know now I might use alternate devices just to have motion sensing lights. But the price was very competitive so its really hard to say for sure.
