Perfect for multiple devices to 1 input.
Working with limited space, and connections. This was sweet perfection!I was able to connect multiple 2 devices, a computer, and a BluRay player to a single HDMI. It does get warm when used for extended periods, but not overly so. Simple button to toggle between inputs.The USB even powered from the PC with no issues!

Does it job just not what we were expecting
Works well as a switcher. The switcher works but it makes the output HDMI and Optical ARC, rather than only Optical. Doing that makes the sound come from the sound bar and the TV.

Automatically Displays Active HDMI Signal
I thought this was a simple switch to select among multiple HDMI inputs, but this device contains some intelligence and automatically switches to display the active HDMI signal if there is only one active signal. That is a very nice and a convenient feature. My previous HDMI switch with 2 input ports was a simple switch without any intelligence. My previous HDMI switch was also sensitive to the stove burner being turned on, with the sparks causing the video output to become blank, but I experience no electromagnetic interference with the BENFEI HDMI switch when the stove burner is turned on. This BENFEI HDMI switch requires a powered USB port or an AC to USB power adapter to work. One of my laptop computers has a USB port that is always powered even when the computer is off while another laptop computer does not always provide power to its USB port, so there was some initial confusion when the HDMI switch did not always work when it was plugged into the laptop computer that does not always power its USB port, but that problem is resolved now by plugging in the BENFEI HDMI switch to the USB port that is always powered. One of my laptop computers periodically turns on at set times and outputs a blank screen. When that happens, the BENFEI HDMI switch will automatically switch to the blank screen. I then have to press a key on the laptop computer to display video and then press the button on the BENFEI HDMI switch to select the original video input I was watching.

Glad I Found This
Jun 16th 2025: As soon as I got it I plugged it in connected my Playstation to it, my personal PC and my work PC to it. Then that one hdmi to the monitor. Everything works great. It automatically switches to whichever HDMI turns on. So I turn my monitor on and if HDMI 1 (PC) then it switches to my PC. If I turn on my Playstation while my PC is on then it switches to the Playstation’s HDMI (Which would be the 2nd one). Connection is good, no flickering.June 25th, 2025: I will update in a few months if it stops working or anything else happens.Jan 14th, 2026: still works, still automatically switches. I have all 4 Hdmi’s plugged in and they switch when something new gets turned on.

Great for Multiple HDMI Devices, but Sound Issues
I like that the BENFEI HDMI Switch offers four input ports—it’s really handy if you have several devices like gaming consoles, streaming sticks, or Blu-ray players. It makes switching between them a lot easier.However, there’s one big downside: every time it’s plugged in, it seems to cut out the sound from my TV. The only way to fix it is to unplug the switch and plug it back in, which is pretty frustrating. If the manufacturer could fix the sound issue, this would be a great product — but right now, it’s only half-useful.

Misleading description and quality isn’t good would stay away did hear when I used with my screens a popping noise so unsure if there’s something with the electrics wrong with it but best to avoid

Fungerar ej!Jag har provat den på två TV (SONY och LG) och ARC inaktiveras på båda när switchen kopplas in.Jag kopplade in 3 st HDMI enheter i switchen och när jag stängde av 2 st så klarade inte switchen att byta till den som fortfarande igång (ej automatiskt och ej via knappen på switchen). Jag var tvungen att koppla bort strömmen till switchen för att få den att hitta den enhet som var inkopplad.Jag rekommenderar inte denna produkt!
