Works nicely!
Feels solid! My ocarina is pretty thick around, the case has just enough give to bend around it slightly so that it closes with a secure fit. Not quite rock hard, which is great, some give prevents cracking. The double zipper is quality, feels smooth. Handle feels secure, stitching looks clean. I don’t love the logo being so prominent, but at least it isn’t obnoxious looking. Easy to cut the foam. I wished for a thin layer of foam on top and bottom separate from the inner squares to protect on all sides, so I cut a thin slice off the top and put it inside the inner zipper compartment. I also left foam at the bottom, didn’t completely take the squares out. If I hadn’t needed that then I wouldn’t have needed scissors, the squares are easy to pull out. I added a black cloth. I’m so happy my custom instrument has a customized protective case now! Perfect for my needs, price is right. Will update if there’s are any issues but the material seems high quality so I don’t imagine any problems.
