Useless battery makes the iPad pointless👎🏻
I’ve had this iPad for about a month & a half now, & the battery is already shot. Within a week of setting up the iPad, from being fully charged, would die within two hours of using. It just simply being on, no apps opened, & locked, drains the battery a ridiculous amount. It will die sitting on the charger if being used. It takes an absurd amount of time to charge. This is unacceptable for a newly purchased iPad. I understand it’s refurbished, but an adequately refurbished iPad should still have a higher functioning battery than this. I’ve messaged the seller to hopefully rectify this issue, but still waiting for a response. I hope to have a positive update for my review once the seller has replied to me. Other than the battery, the iPad came in good condition. It’s so unfortunate the battery is so poor, because that truly makes the iPad obsolete. Would NOT recommend purchasing an iPad from this seller.UPDATE: seller refuses to replace the product with the same exact model iPad, just a different color. They state the color I ordered is out of stock, & policy states they can’t issue a “substitution” replacement, even if the only difference is simply color. Has done nothing to rectify the situation other than suggest a standard return & refund process. Refuses to provide a courtesy credit, even considering I got this item on sale & the sale is no longer active, so I’ll have to pay substantially more now for the same product. All of this because of a faulty product they sold me. They refuse to provide a direct phone number to speak with someone on the phone instead of the messages, & now they have stopped responding all together. Utterly pathetic customer service. Was disappointing to have this issue in the first place, but even more disappointing to have the seller do absolutely nothing to make it right.
