Not bad, Ring door bell camera is better, but it worked good for the person I installed it for.
The Chamberlain myQ video door bell camera works great. Easy to install and very good and clear video. End WEP

Blown Away — Better Than My $150 Doorbell
Took a shot on this brand and I’m so glad I did. I wasn’t expecting much, but this thing blew my old camera out of the water. The 2K video is crystal clear—seriously, I can read license plates and see faces all the way down the sidewalk. Even the color night vision is shockingly good. It doesn’t just switch to grainy black and white—it’s actually usable. The wide-angle view is another win. I can see my porch and most of my driveway, and it doesn’t distort like those weird fisheye cams. The motion detection is smart too—no alerts for every car or leaf blowing by. Just actual people, which is exactly what I need.Setup was a breeze. I’m not a DIY guy, but I had this installed and running in under 15 minutes. Didn’t even need a YouTube tutorial. Wired it into my old chime and it worked immediately—no extra parts needed.App experience? Super smooth. Live video loads fast, no buffering, and notifications hit my phone before someone even reaches the door. The two-way audio is loud and clear—I’ve already talked to a few delivery drivers through it with zero delay.Love that it integrates with my existing myQ garage app—everything’s in one place now. And while there’s a subscription option, I appreciate that you still get all the core features without paying. That alone sets it apart.I’d buy this again in a heartbeat. Might even grab one for my parents.

I like the MyQ line but hate this doorbell
So, after successfully buying and using various MyQ cameras and garage door controllers, I had high hopes for this product, but in only a few hours I came to hate it. So, after several frustrations, I returned it. A top concern was the doorbell chime – normally this would be a small thing but that bell is really, really, really loud! My wife even walked down the block two houses and it could clearly be heard from there. I called the support line and was informed that the bell sound could not be turned off or down. So, to me, this was a very poor design component and I really don’t want to irritate my neighbors. Two other small things, but frustrating anyway: (a) to attach it to the mouting bracket, you have to put in a dinky, tiny, little, microscopic screw at the bottom and that screw did not want to play nice and kept falling out. It took many tries to get it in. Not sure what the designers were thinking when they crafted this thing. Every other MyQ product was easy to set up but not this one. and (b) the other small irritant is the date stamp on the videos… for some weird reason they are several hours off. I have the time on the app set correctly but this one device, and only this device, seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to deciding what time the event occurred. Again, per the folks at the help desk, there was nothing which could be done. So, I decided to dismantel the hateful thing and put back my Ring camera. A shame as I would have loved to have this security camera operate from the same app and service as the other ones.

Great product but not 5ghz compatible for setup
The device would have been much easier to set up if it was mentioned anywhere in the product specs that it will NOT work with 5ghz wifi connections. Even after calling Chamberlain support for assistance they did not mention it, and put in an escalation ticket that 3 business days later I still haven’t heard a response back on.However after doing my own research I found it will only connect to a 2.4ghz frequency. Once I set up a 2.4ghz guest WiFi separate from the 5ghz main account; we had no issue with set up.So far no connection issues, camera is clear in picture/video & audio. We chose this option as our garage doors are also maintained through the MyQ app so it is easier to manage all accesses through one application. The look blends nicely with our door/siding and at 50% off when we made the purchase I think it is definitely worth the price.

Chamberlain MyQ Video Doorbell
I have been looking for video doorbell cameras for a while, and purchased a set, but they were linked through ccp servers, so I got rid of them. Chamberlain MyQ has just introduced their doorbell cameras, so I ordered 3 of these units. They have great color and Infrared capabilities, with a wide angle view, and sound communications. The motion detection is slightly delayed, but it is fine for what I need. The motion detection is good, as it indicates vehicles, people, and even deer in the yard. The doorbell cameras use the same application as the Chamberlain garage door opener, that I had installed several years ago. I purposely stayed away from Ring, as they are susceptible to hacking, even with their assurance that they have repaired the issue. I know people who have Ring doorbell cameras, and they are happy with them. The Ring doorbell cameras, as well as wireless, and wired cameras, have been disabled by their neighbors, with lasers, lights, and hacks. The MyQ doorbell cameras are able to operate on battery, or through a low voltage electrical circuit. I installed one on the garage facing the back of the house, utilizing the battery capability, and the other two I replaced the existing door bell buttons with the MyQ cameras, utilizing the transformer of the doorbell system, in order to keep the battery charged. I haven’t had to recharge the battery on the battery operated camera, as it has been only a few weeks of operation, since I had installed them. The MyQ cameras are capable of stand alone function, or a contract for a server operation, which has a similar cost to other doorbell camera systems. The ccp cameras could only be operated through the server, and they would not work, unless they connected to the ccp server, through a third party server with a required fee. I have contemplated installing a low voltage transformer from the garage, so that I won’t be required to recharge the battery manually. The cameras are easy to install, as I had to drill only one hole for each of the existing door bell buttons, and I utilized one hole from a defunct remote reading thermometer, and drilled one hole to mount the anchor for the battery operated camera. The wireless network connection works from 40’ through the heavy gauge aluminum siding, which is a great feature.

Great video doorbell
Works great. Already had garage door opener with MyQ. Helpful with set up

This myQ video doorbell is great. it is so much more responsive than my Lorex 4K video doorbell. Someone rings the bell you get an immediate notification. You can speak loud and clear to whoever is at the front door. Video quality so far is great not perfect, but I am hoping that future software updates will fix that problem. Tonight is my first night of ownership. I will report back with night vision performance. I do have the myQ video keypad for my garage and it is outstanding. At this price, you can’t beat it. I also have Alexa in my house and to be honest it does not integrate with Alexa and I am perfectly fine with that. My phone on my app is more than enough. Update Easter Sunday.. night vision is fantastic! When purchasing this camera make sure you have a transformer that is 24 V and 40 VA this will give you all the power you need and charge the onward battery at the same time. This doorbell is truly fantastic.

If you are on a subscription with myq this is a great addition to your devices. It’s expensive for the initial purchase but joins the rest easily.

No angle mount….I’m thinking about sending it back. That is just ridiculous for a door bell.

Videos are crystal clear no matter if it’s day or night, best part is that it works with MYQ garage app. And the price is decent compare to those $300 plus, highly recommend

Works great. Connects to the same app as garage door. Video camera is very clear and has wide coverage you can adjust to your liking.
