Should’ve bought it a long time ago
After months of buying other cheaper type of drones, I finally broke down and bought this DJI when I seen it on sale. This thing is incredible, easy to fly, takes great pics and video, gimbal holds the camera so still you can’t tell when the drone is moving or not. I will definitely be moving my way up the line and getting some more advanced DJI drones very soon.

Good drone, good value, loads of fun.
Great drone. Amazing for beginners. No complaints after a month of use. Definitely recommend. Pictures turned out great. Video is very good. I do wish I could shoot 4k 60 fps instead of the capped 30 fps, but it is not a big tradeoff, especially with the price you will pay for something like the mini 3 or something higher up the line. The drone is very stable especially during calm days, however if theres some wind, it can be hard to take super smooth video, although very possible within 10-15 mph. This drone also has a few entry level features that are cool like panorama options and other quick shots. I do recommend getting at least the 2 battery combo (what I got) since it is not as expensive as the fly more combo (at that point just get a mini 3), but you still get about 40 mins combined battery life (don’t trust DJI’s 31 min/ battery claim) as well as a carry case with is actually pretty nice quality. Good drone, good value, loads of fun.

Great drone for beginners — stable and easy to use
Honestly, this is my first time ever flying a drone, and I’m really impressed. It was very easy to use and super stable, even as a beginner. The battery lasted about 31 minutes, which is great. One of my favorite features is the Return-to-Home (RTH) system—it makes flying feel much safer. Overall, I highly recommend this drone, especially if you’re just starting out.

I’m really impressed
m really impressed with this drone. The DJI Mini 4K is lightweight, easy to set up, and the 4K video quality looks amazing. The controller is very intuitive and the drone feels very stable in the air. Perfect for beginners and for capturing beautiful aerial shots. Definitely worth the purchase!

Great beginner drone with impressive video quality
Super easy to fly and perfect for beginners. The 4K video quality is sharp and stable, and the controls are intuitive. Battery life is decent, and the compact size makes it easy to carry around. Great value for the price.

Absolutely must in a wide open area. Very poor communication 600 was a nightmare
Not to sure if this is a option for city or residential areas. Ive had potensic adom and didnt have much interference until I was atleast 3km away from operating. I just had the skyrover s1 hands down the best, had absolutely no interference the features where absolutely 2x better than the adom and the dji but unfortunately the plastic will break with minor impacts possibly even with handling it. My first flight with the dji seemed great at the moment of take off. 600 ft later all sorts of issues with interference. Im very skeptical about even trying it again in fear i may not get it back or it may crash.. the build seems quality flying it behind my house while im in front shpuld definitely not be an issue. Considering my cheaper drones never had issues with in a few thousand feet from me. For this to have major problems with in 600 ft… scares me to even try it again. Im lucky I was able to get it back. The thought of.loosing 400 bucks on the first fly. Most likely will return this drone and stick with the potensic. It should be 1 star but I gave it a 3 Considering it may be a great drone in a wide open field for farm use… but as far as residential areas beware!update apparently they didn’t like what 8 had to say the new one at half the price should actually be 50 bucksI paid 400+ for junk went about as far as I kid could throw. Batterys where no doubt harbor freight. Not the one that should be recharged.. the next day price drop in half totally makes sense why. My friend has the same one just a little old. Build quality was rugged. And lasted and went as far as it said. The new ones are about as comparable to the 50 dollar ones but since it’s dji that what your paying for. The old brand name is now junk should p.o.s. I was so excited to finally get a dji what a disappointment l.

Great drone.
I’m a beginner and this drone is easy to fly recreational. There’s lots of instructional youtubes to help. It’s powerful enough to handle North Dakota prairie breezes which is why I bot it. The video and picture quality is very good. And it has good range that I will probably not exceed.

AMAZING drone!
We got this for our Jeep off-roading fun. I am stunned at the image quality and image stability, even on mildly windy days. I haven’t really figured out how to work it yet, but my 12-year-old has it mastered and keeps promising to teach me how to work it. HIGHLY recommend it.

It is a DJI micro drone for beginners. But not for kids. What is a micro drone? One with a weight below 250g. In this case, you are not required to get a license to use it. The mini 4K is a light version of the DJI mini 4, great to learn and light on your pocket if you crash it (without insurance). This is my first drone. I have to admit – I expected more from the camera, especially in low light. But it is expected. You cannot get the same quality images and videos as from the DJI mini 4 Pro. It is a different class. Flying the drone for the first time is a bit challenging. First, make sure you learn the regulations and understand that flying is a privilege, not a right. Download the NAV Drone Canada app, create an account, and learn about the rules in your area (or the area you want to fly over).A drone combo makes a lot of sense, especially when you get a good deal. Otherwise, you’ll pay more for the drone and accessories. Also, buy a hard case. The bag included with the kit is good, but not protective enough. Buy extra batteries, but good ones (don’t take risks with poor quality batteries). Don’t spend too much on accessories that you don’t know how to use. If you plan to learn, no problem. For example, filters. If you know their role and importance, fine – get ’em! Also, don’t buy accessories that will push the weight of your drone to or above the 250g limit, because you’ll risk entering a different category governed by different rules. My drone works fine and gave me a great opportunity to learn. Some of you may be tempted to buy the DJI Neo because it’s cheaper and easier to use. I’d say the price isn’t too different in the end. With accessories in a kit similar to this one, the price becomes irrelevant. The rest is… different! The DJI Neo is great for vloggers, mostly interested in the ability of the drone to follow its owner. The noise, the range, and controlling it are very different. The DJI mini 4K is closer to a real drone for photographers and videographers. It has some predefined (quick) flight patterns that can help you, but, to most of us disappointing, no tracking! You really want this drone to learn real flying using the remote control (and not your phone, except as a viewing screen).I’m having fun with this drone, and I suggest everyone take it slowly in Cinematic Mode (later in Normal Mode), learning the basic movements, experimenting in open areas like a school football field early in the morning or late in the afternoon, without bothering people, keeping your distance and your eyes on the drone. Don’t jump to long and complicated flights too quickly. Do not rely on obstacle avoidance. The Sport Mode disables the obstacle avoidance anyway. This drone has a limited ability to avoid them, especially in low visibility. DJI mini 4K is not waterproof. Do not fly in the rain or fog. It may fail. Do not fly over the water if you didn’t learn how to fly really well. Do not rely on the battery lasting the specified time (usually calculated in ideal conditions). If it’s windy, if you are an aggressive pilot, if the battery wasn’t fully charged to begin with, consider 50…60% of the 30-minute time suggested by the specs. The drone has the return home ability, but not without enough juice in the battery. My first flight was a straight up and down line. As simple as possible. Keep it low for a while (20..30 meters above your head). Just look around through your camera and learn to point it ahead and down at various degrees. Learn to rotate the drone clockwise and counterclockwise from a steady position. Learn more complicated flight movements around you in a range of 30…50 meters. Keep your eyes on the drone and learn to use the remote without looking for the controls. It would be great to learn to fly on a simulator first until you feel comfortable with the controls. In conclusion, be wise and take it slowly. If you can, go to a drone flight school or have a trained pilot teach you a thing or two. Don’t forget: the greatest disappointment is not to crash your drone (because you will) but to crash an expensive one because you didn’t learn on a cheaper one first. And, once again: follow all the rules and regulations even if you fly a micro drone for recreation. In the end, it’s not about you but the safety of others. Have fun!
