Nice upgradeable laptop but can’t run protools.
Immediately I was blown away by the quality of the laptop and the screens resolution. I immediately upgraded to 32gbs of ddr5 as I was intending to do audio recording and editing with the machine. It ended up playing modern titles on low but it still looked great and playable. Also this was not a gaming laptop, it had no business being able to run hell divers or arc raiders but it did. I ended up returning due to audio glitches while recording. Something about the CPU being too new and untested with protools was causing issues. Other than that it seemed like a cool machine for the price and would have kept it if it didn’t glitch while recording. It had the power was affordable and easy to upgrade. Just couldn’t process audio well. I did run blender and lychee slicer and it was a beast with the memory upgrade. The bios was easy to allocate more memory to the GPU but did not allow me to use the full speed of the upgraded memory.

A working USB C display port for work
I’m having continued issues with the USC C ports for Display out failing. I will use one for hours and it will randomly stop displaying. Then I switch to the other port, and it will work for a few hours and fail again. The charging still work but not display out. Restarts, shutdowns, clearing display cache will not fix anything. A few days later it will randomly work again but eventually stop displaying. I like this laptop, but I need to return it with this annoying issue. There’s no way I can continue using this laptop in this way…USB C ports need to work, and this seems like a hardware issue at this time. Doesn’t even detect the other screen in settings.

Great deal
An excellent deal for the price. Gaming performance is far better than I expected with the 780m. The only thing that would make this better is an Intel AX210 rather than the included RTL8852BE, but that is easy enough to swap out and not a big deal for most users.

Small, fast, and light.
Doesn’t get full 5 stars, but, this thing is fast, it can even game surprisingly enough. So let’s get why I took off a star – microphone quality leaves more to be desired at this price point, same goes for the speaker quality, could be better. On a call would be nice to hear everyone as they are, rather than hearing them as if they were coming through overhead speakers on an airplane. Now for the good – Screen is HDR compatible, but doesn’t support VRR (variable refresh rate), it does game at *playable* frame rates and without much issue. Keyboard is backlit, makes it look nice, the trackpad with clicking left and right on it, feels great. The power brick that came with it is a full featured 100 watt GAN based charger (don’t chuck these around like the old chargers, they break easier). Battery life reports at full load around 3, maybe 3.5 hours of use, no load is around 5 hours.
