Great Product, Saved a Bunch of Money
We’ve been using a first-generation Amazon Echo (the tower type) since it first came out ages ago. Recently, though, it began acting a bit wonky and it was more than a challenge to get it set up again properly, as the software apparently changed a lot across time. Time for a new device.We got the refurbished 4th generation version of the Echo for half of what the new one cost. Like with other Amazon refurbished items, it was indistinguishable from a brand-new version and works just as well. We use it as an alarm, a white noise machine, an answer-machine, and an internet radio (especially for WMVY and WUMB). It works great, much better than the first-gen model ever did. It understands verbal commands much more easily, sounds considerably better, and looks a lot better, too. We like its round form better than the older tower model.Consider this a ringing endorsement of both the current Echo and Amazon’s refurbished products program!

Got it on sale! Wow! Great sound for the money! It is compatible with Alexa, of course. The sound is great… with a deep bass response! I’m currently hooked up, via Bluetooth to my television for better overall sound. Not to mention the speaker is closer to me than the television. The quality of the Echo is perfect. Grab one or two on sale when you can!

Fantastic Echo unit
Works fantastically like my old Gen 3 Echo Dot but with much better sound. I am surprised by the bass this ball puts out. It has surprisingly great volume!I had this in my cart in sale for $49 but I was to slow to pull the trigger. It went up to $99 the next day. I ended up buying a “Used-like new” unit for $47 and am extremely happy with it. It didn’t look like it had even been opened.
