VERY easy set up and beginner friendly.
Not only are they easy to use, small, and cheap, but they also deliver pretty good audio quality. I’m planning on using them for a podcast, and with a good recording system, they work and sound professional enough for a casual podcast! I’m very happy with this purchase, as I got them on a black friday deal for $10 (two of them!) The only thing is that I was surprised at first at how small the box, mics, and receiver are, but they worked well! Maybe not perfect studio quality, but pretty close!

These microphones are mind blowing. I ran a direct head to head comparison between the sound recording off of my device microphone on a Samsung S25 ultra and these little microphones. Could it really be that much of a difference. YES! Even in a high end smart phone, the recording by the phone’s built in microphone on play back sounded like I was listening to a voicemail on speakerphone. By contrast, the recording made with these microphones when played on that same phones speaker sounded as if I was listening to a podcast or audiobook. The recording was dramatically better than that provided by the on device microphone.In addition, as I have a Mac mini which doesn’t have a microphone, I love being able to plug the USB-C receiver into the back of the computer and using these wireless microphones to take advantage of the on device dictation of the Mac as well as the dictation abilities things such as ChatGPT.Overall, these microphones were a solid win and if you can get them for under $20, it’s a no-brainer. They are portable, compatible with USB-C devices ie either Mac or Samsung, function in a variety of tasks and were incredibly easy to set up by just plugging them into the devices without any additional steps required. They also work great at dictating Amazon reviews!

I live to record my son’s orchestra concerts to share with family who are out of town. They usually always come out sounding very muffled. I wanted to hear my son. And he wanted to hear himself to identify areas for improvement.This lapel mic was perfect for just that.He clipped it between some buttons on his shirt, and you could hear him clearly. No sounds of it rubbing on his shirt or anything!If you want to hear your kid from the crowd, get this!! I was able to get this from the balcony section, so it’s got pretty good range.I am going to have him use it for his choir concerts, too!!It’s about 2 inches long, so bigger than an air pod. Almost like a jumbo air pod size.Worked for his 30 minute set without dying.

Mini microphones
Works great with IPhone 16 Plus. Had to slide the Otter Box cover down off the end of the phone and attach the receiver but works great.I play guitar and sing and I clip one of the mics on the strap down from my voice and the other about four foot from the amplifier and the recording is great.The Reverb effect is a bit much but regular recording is wonderful.You don’t know what you’re missing till you get the set. Get one and see for yourself.

Not bad but not good
It’s easy to use. It’s literally plug and play, no pairing or any extra steps to get it to work. Definitely do a test run first to make sure the mic is turned on before you record your long video (made that mistake). For all intents and purposes it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well enough. My complaint is the sound quality of the microphone. It sounds harsh like it’s boosted. On the upside the sound isolation and wind noise is pretty good. I feel like they could have provided some kind of carry case or bag for all the little pieces to keep them together to make portability a little better. As far as durability, it feels like cheap plastic and feels very poorly made so I don’t foresee these lasting a long time, but for the low price paid for it I can’t really complain too much.
