No longer works after update.
Right out of the box, connected right up and worked perfect. A couple of days ago I recieved an Amazon Firestick update and although I can still navigate with this, the volume button, microphone, and channel button no longer works. Even after removing and re-adding, it no longer serves it’s purpose, to have a second Fire Stick voice remote. Not taking away any stars from the seller because it did work perfectly until the update.

Exact Replacement and Worked Instantly
Highly recommend! I accidentally washed my TV remote with my bedding because it was hiding in the sheets and did not survive. Even worse, my TV apparently has zero buttons on it, so I suddenly had no way to watch anything. Thankfully I used Amazon’s image search and found this remote, which looked exactly like the one that originally came with my TV. I was worried it would be complicated to set up since I couldn’t even figure out how to turn the TV on, but it couldn’t have been easier. I put the batteries in and it worked instantly. No pairing, no setup, nothing! Huge relief because now I can get back to my nightly routine of falling asleep to Seinfeld reruns.

I wanted a second Fire TV remote so that my husband and I can each have our own. The price was very reasonable. The device works great. It’s easy to use and navigate all the buttons. I would highly recommend this product.

Great Replacement Remote!
Purchased as a replacement remote. I was able to pair the remote with my firestick in just a few minutes by following the directions. The buttons have a nice responsive feel. The programmed Netflix button worked fine so I would imagine the other buttons are compatible as well. It does feel a little cheaply made but it works great. Right after pairing the show that was on paused a few times but I’m not totally sure it was the remotes doing. All in all it worked as it should and is a great cheap replacement.

Easy, simple, FireTV stick remote replacement
Arrived quickly and set up was simple and just worked. I bought this one to replace an original remote for Fire TV Stick 4K that had suddenly started eating batteries and going through them every 3 days. I’ve been using this new replacement for over a month now and it has worked pretty much flawlessly for us. I got in the habit of checking battery life every so often and it hasn’t really moved from 93% in over a month, so it fully solved my issue. Lastly, another small benefit is that it’s slightly longer than the original as they are so easily lost or misplaced in couch cushions.

Fast Fix
My remote went out and the grandkids were on the way. I needed a fast fix. I found this replacement remote with overnight delivery. It arrived at 7:30 the next morning and works just like the original. Disaster averted.

The volume – mute function does not work.
The remote works as expected but does have some difficulty pairing with the Firestick/TV. From my research it appears this is more of an issue with the FIRESTICK. The volume – mute function does not work. I have tried this with two different Samsung TV’s – each less than two years old, two different 4K Max Firesticks each less than 6 months old (but past the return window), each with most recent updates. One Firestick was stripped and factory reset. This remote was purchased to test if the old remote was the issue – it was not. I tried all the troubleshooting fixes that have been posted even to the extent of reprogramming the IR code sent to the TV. Nothing works to fix it. The only savior is that the remote that came with the TV is a learning remote and controls the TV volume and Firestick. I will next contact customer support to see what they suggest. I will also post these results on the review of the last Firestick I bought.Repeated diagnostics with an Amazon tech – no fix. He did offer a discount and gift certificate for another Firestick but so far it has not shown up yet.

This was my THIRD attempt at replacing the remote for my OMNI Fire Tv! The two others I ordered recently simply wouldn’t pair/work with my TV no matter how many different pairing methods I tried. Frustrated, I ended up returning them. Then I saw this one and although I had huge doubts, I decided to give this one a try and ordered it. I’m so glad I did!This remote works PERFECTLY!!**No pairing required, simply put batteries in and it works!** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I highly recommend this remote for anyone needing to replace their FireTv remote.Finally I have a remote that works! (just have to hide it now so my kids don’t lose it again lol) I might even order an extra one as a “back up” 😊

10/10 Impressed!!Don’t waste your time on other remotes get this one!!Purchased this as a replacement remote for our Amazon Fire TV. Absolutely would recommend this remote!!!!!I just took it out of the box, threw the batteries in and it just worked!!! No fuss no syncing.*I will update this review if it just decides to not do what its supposed to, but so far so good!!

Remote #2 … this one doesn’t work either. Mute turns the volume down, Vol Down turns the volume up and Vol up turns the sound bar off.Now if I go into settings … the buttons are all correct … but as soon as I exit the settings the buttons change operation. Real tired of this.
