    Life changing lights
These lights ROCK! I’ve never bought a single item which has changed my daily life to this extent. Instead of relying on glaring overhead lights in my apartment, I now use multiple lamps with these bulbs. The hue bridge connects seamlessly to the bulbs and setup was a breeze. Make sure you have an extra Ethernet port on your router, as it is absolutely necessary. The lights function beautifully, with dimming, color, and dynamic function all working better than expected. I am glad I got the 75 W equivalent versions, as the extra brightness is appreciated over the standard 60 W equivalent bulbs I had before. I use primarily for circadian regulation, which is super easy to program in the app. The wind down warm light at night and the blaring bluish light in the morning has actually improved my sleep and wakefulness.

    Such a cool system!!!
I have a bunch of remote control multi-coloured light bulbs but have always wanted to try the Philips Hue system to handle all of my lighting at once.I realllllllly love it! I wish I could afford to replace all of my bulbs throughout my house with the Hue bulbs. It’s fantastic to be able to control everything from one spot without having to use remotes or go from room to room. The lights are great – I got the 75w system and they seem brighter than the cheap bulbs that claim to be 75W.It was pretty easy to set up in my home.I haven’t used them long enough to see how long they last, but I can’t imagine they won’t last as long as the cheap ones I’ve been using for 5 years.Recommend!!!! If someone wants to send me a few hundred bucks to redo my lighting with this system, I’d be thrilled!!!!

Great option for smart bulbs, just not quite bright enough
These Philip Hue bulbs have a lot going for them, but I was disappointed in how bright they were… Or rather how dim. This set came with two bulbs and the bridge which you need to be able to communicate with the bulbs. I ended up buying a third bulb because I wanted to use these in my ceiling fan in my home office. I really liked the thought of setting up different presets for moods or times of day so I have one for studying and working intensely that’s a bright daylight temperature, and I set presets for later in the evening that are dimmer and more warm. They integrate very well with my smart home, which is powered by home assistant, and we’re extremely easy to set up. I just downloaded the app and followed the instructions and it only took a few minutes. It is pretty hard sometimes to remember not to turn the light switch off as I’m leaving the room which kills power to the bulbs but overtime I’ve somewhat built a habit. The Hue app is easy to use and very intuitive. I also love how easy it was to integrate the Hue devices into my Home Assistant network. It was completely seamless. In a few months, I’ve been using these, I have had a few instances where one or more of the bulbs will either flicker or be off completely when the other lights are on. So I know there’s power to the sockets and the light switches on, but there must be something going on with that particular bulb or bulbs. Turning the power off at the light switch and turning it back on has fixed the issue every time it’s happened, but it’s odd nonetheless. The only other gripe I have with these bulbs is they aren’t very bright at all. I have three of them in the ceiling fan light facing down in a very small home office and they just don’t provide much light at all. They’re great for accent lights or to put in a lamp because you can change them to any color you want and they look great but they’re just not bright. And that’s even on the you know concentration daylight setting, on a color setting like a rich, red or blue or purple, they’re even dimmer looking.I have a floor lamp in this tiny home office over my garage as well and with the four of the bulbs together, they put out enough light that it’s not too dark, but it’s definitely not bright and I have to turn on a lamp on my monitor to be able to comfortably read at my desk even with the other lights on at 100%. So these are not lights that you would want to replace a 75 or 100 W equivalent bulb with, they are just more like accent lights.Overall, I am happy with them but will probably eventually move them to lamps around the house and replace the bulbs in my office with some brighter LED bulbs and just turn them on and off with a smart switch.

so many options and well worth the price!
I wanna start out by saying I have tried quite a few different brands of smart bulbs and recently switched to smart bulbs that supported matter. I spent almost $200 replacing all the bulbs in the house just to get them to work with Siri as well as Alexa. Alexa worked fine, but Siri never did And that was a bummer so I was soon looking to replace those bulbs. I had always shined away from the Phillips HUE bulbs because they’re usually the most expensive on the market but now I understand why. These bulbs and bridge were so easy to get installed. I am a blind guy and Take a lot of pride and being able to set up my smart home things by myself. I was a little bummed when I realized that the bridge was not Wi-Fi, which I was expecting but a wired connection. It’s small enough that it wasn’t that big of a deal and I was able to Connect it on the same table that I have my router on. Then once it was plugged in and the HUE app was installed on my phone. All I had to do is press a button and almost immediately the bridge showed up after renaming it. I was ready for the lightbulbs.I always do one lightbulb at a time, so I’m not running around the house trying to figure out which one is which because they’re always named something weird the HUE bulbs were not named weird names they were just Light bulb one and so on but anyway, after renaming them and putting them in the room that they were in they were connected. Then it was on to open up that Amazon Alexa app since I was already logged into my account. All I had to do is find the skill and enable it, and I was automatically connected on my iPad and iPhone. While the customization through the Alexa app is much less than it is through the HUE app I just wanted it there so I could tell who I called the little lady in the box to switch those lights on and off. I was also able to easily connect it to Siri by getting the code from the Amazon Alexa app. Now everything works great.I knew that with the HUE lightbulbs you were able to do some pretty cool customizations so I set it up too a line with What I was watching on TV and the lights did a little light show with the program that was on TV at the time now being blind, I can’t tell colors, but I can’t see light and dark and noticed that the lights were doing things. It was absolutely awesome and once again, I totally understand why these bulbs are at the top of the price range in the smart bulb area.At the end of the day, I would 100% recommend recommend paying the price for these bulbs, not only for the customization, but how easy they are to set up and you won’t end up pulling your hair out trying to get them to connect to each app and or device you want to connect them to.Also, I’d like to apologize for any typing errors sometimes speech detects call BULBS… BOWLS.
