Great Overhead desk lights
I put these on the underside of a shelf above my desk and they are great, fully customizable and i can dim them at night when needed. The double sided tape they come with is great, was not expecting it to hold so long upside down yet it has.

Pricey But Create Great Ambiance
Definitely on the expensive side for what they are, but these Hue Play bars work really well. The phone app is comprehensive and makes it super easy to change my office desk lighting mood whenever I want. Desktop app could be better, but the phone control makes up for it. The lighting effects and ease of use justify the investment if you’re into mood lighting.

I love how they try to charge you $50 for the bridge itself. So instead, you go for the “economic” purchase of (2) bar lights for $50 each- and it comes with the bridge…. But how else can they get you to buy another bundle? They give you one… 3 point shared.. power supply for your 2 devices..One block with 3 ports as if you’re going to set the lights adjacent to eachother. Genuinely, if anybody from philips is seeing this- y’all should gfy selves like you f’d your patients with this CPAP recall.

An amazing experience for PC gaming
Received the box with seals already torn through so I had anticipated this wasn’t going to be good from the start. Opened the box and all of the mounts were missing and the wrench. Terribly disappointed. I will update my review depending on how the replacement goes…Update: after receiving my replacement fully intact, I could safely say that these lights are darn cool. I don’t have previous experience with hue lights but these really add an immersion to PC gaming by illuminating what’s on your screen via the light sync software feature. To get it working properly and finicky and took hours to be in a solid state of functioning. It would constantly stop the sync for no apparent reason and kind of resolved on its own. Overall I am happy with the bars, but the price could definitely be lower. Otherwise I’d love to add them to my entertainment center.

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!!
These things are amazing. I have absolutely no idea how people say the set up is difficult. You LITERALLY plug the bridge into your router, plug into the wall, and walk away. The app will tell you when it’s done. There are so many different scenes that you can pick from, or you can do your own color combination. I avoided these at first because of the price compared to the thin corner ones. After two separate returns I realized I should have gone with this to begin with. You can not go wrong with these. Now I need to get another for behind my TV. I’m hooked.

In love with these lights
My son started with 2 as accent lights only but they are brighter than the ceiling light in his room. I purchased a set as well and loved them so much I immediately purchased another set. That turned into 3 of my kids asking for some for Christmas. So far we have them in 6 rooms of our house and we all love them. I purchased the hub and switch so we can control them from the app or the switch. Love the many lighting color and scene options. They are a bit pricey for 2 small light but I will be buying more!

We are currently using these under our twins cribs connected to a Hue Motion sensor, so the light doesnt disturb them when we are checking in on them at night.Fully intend to move these behind the main TV once we don’t need them under the cribs anymore.Main reason we went with these is that long term we will use with our TV, but also because we needed the new Hue Hub as we still had V1 and the updates were no longer synced with our google home.Very happy with Hue overall.

I got a full kit : 2 play lights + hue bulb and a bridge for C$200 (i guess)The hue bulb is for floor lamp and I have fixed both play light next to my monitor, on the table. They work amazing, very responsive, great colours and brightness.I really liked the hue sync functionality with the play lights, if you put it on high response, they might get a bit annoying, the low response sync works for me.I have paired it with Alexa. Setup was very easy and Straightforward.I wanted to lit my room a little and it did that job. Worth the money.

This has changed the ambience of my living room.Me and my GF love movies.Horror movies = redSci-fi =Green.The lights are rich and vivid.You will have to experiment with the placement to suit your taste. With the exception of the price…Highly recommended.
