Works seamlessly with Alexa
I have these installed in our master bedroom and they work great with Alexa. Setup was quick and easy and it’s nice to be able to set the mood with just the right color as well as dim or brighten the lights without getting out of bed. You can also set a timer for on/off or even have them gradually come on in the morning to help you wake up! We have four lights above the bed so you can tell Alexa to turn on as a group or individually as well as change the color individually! Love it!

Don’t buy
Thought I had a winner here. Easy set-up, worked like a charm. Couple of days later I needed to make an adjustment. Had the bulbs split into two and two, two different rooms but in the same fixture. Decided to put the second set of two bulbs into the first room and delete the second room (Living room and living room2). Deleting the second set of bulbs was a mistake, I guess. Couldn’t find them after that. Decided to start over, delete all bulbs and the hub. No way was I able to re install any bulbs. I could reinstall the hub, but not via wi-fi . Just wouldn’t connect. So, no prob just use Ethernet cable. But no bulbs appeared. Re set the bulbs about 20 times. Never found them. They never re-appeared.tl:dr: Worked initially, but after adjustment, stopped working.

Great for smart home!
Most of the bad reviews seem to be about the hub. I connected these bulbs to my own hub.These bulbs connected easily to my own third party hub without issue. Since sengled follows the zigbee standards, everything worked effortlessly even though my hub wasn’t in their “compatibility” list.No issues with brightness on colors or the tunable white. Colors look proper.Overall great bulbs that i’d recommend to others.

Nice Lights
The wireless light bulb is such a wonderful invention. Every light in my house is wireless and it makes it so easy to turn off forgotten light after you climbed into bed, or to turn everything on in the morning while your still arguing with yourself over actually getting up! My only issue was they were a lot less bright than I thought, but it still worked out as they are perfect for my dining room. I love selecting the colors and brightness to change the mood of the room. Great product, I would just use them in multiple-light situations; they are equivalent to a 60 watt bulb. Overall I am happy with the purchase!

I loveeeeeee these lights. I got them for my boyfriends new place and all he wants to do is set the mood. Like chill out!!! Lol but it’s definitely cool especially for game nights, parties, or just setting the tone for a date night. Love to use it with Alexa (even though Alexa ignores me ) u can use the app also which is super convenient. We use it in the kitchen in the bedroom and the living room. Some of them are in lamps and some of them are in the ceiling fans. I can’t wait to get more so I can put them in each room

Not bright enough for most rooms
Very easy to set up using their app then I linked to my Alexa app, works great! Sadly, about the brightness of a 60 watt bulb at best, even using two in same light they are much to dim to light any room,more for ambience not actual lighting, very disappointed. If you have any trouble with setting in dimly lit places you do not want to purchase these, awful for my living room and kitchen where I planned on using them. My grandson loves his in his bedroom and ok for my little closet, but they do not do well in large areas, so I took them out and replaced with regular bulbs. If company would fix the brightness issue, I’d use them everywhere, but seems they don’t even check reviews.

Fantastic lights!
Awesome lights!!! I really am enjoying getting to have the various colors and brightness levels in my living room. The fact that these work with Alexa is great, I love making routines with her!!

Hub won’t connect to routers
Attempted to connect hub to router #1. Status lights never matched what the setup app said they should be. Reset the hub multiple times per the setup instructions. Failure.Then I tried the connect the hu. via a network switch. Failure.Then I tried connecting to router #2 which is a separate network. Failure. I even went into the router setup and saved clearance for Ports 80 and 13000 per the setup instructions, and then rebooted router #2. Failure.The wifi was verified on my mobile phone between the steps to ensure I was on the 2.4 Ghz signal. There is simply no reason for the failure to connect.As a side note, the hub is cheaply built and the PCB and barrel power port feel unstable. Just for giggles I screwed in a bulb after I had given up on the hub. The bulbs feel decently constructed, give off a pretty looking warm light be default, and don’t buzz at default brightness. The bulbs seem nice. What a shame and a waste.

Since using this product I’ve noticed a reduction in the electricity used because: I personally use the lowest brightness often and they turn off at times they really don’t need to be on by setting up routines through the sengled home app.Sometimes one of the kids might leave a bulb on but with the routines you can set with these bulbs they turn themselves off during the morning and stay off until the evening. it’s making huge differences already.Installation was easy and I’d recommend using Ethernet so that the Internet has a good constant connection to the hub and the bulbs.The variable brightness is good and at maximum they are very bright, lowest setting they are still bright but also I’ve noticed I’ve not been awake so late in the evening due to all the brightness a normal bulb would produce.I’d recommend these for someone looking to try out smart bulbs to see what difference it could make to your life especially in a busy family household

These bulbs are great! If you’re buying them used or from Amazon Warehouse install them and flick the switch 10 times rapidly, the bulbs will flash 4 or more times. This resets the bulbs allowing them to pair with a hub.The bulbs have Alexa and Google Home integration, I chose to use Google Home and have timers.The only negative with all smart bulbs is that they need to be turned on at the source (the switch) to be controlled by the app.
