Monitor works great
I bought this to isolate electricity use in my shop each month. works great with the free SmartLife App which I already had and use for other things. I used a new 220 circuit breaker 30 amp and solid wire i had spare from wiring some 110 outlets. the app picked up the device quickly. WIFI works great too. Now I can track electricity used every day, monthly, or year on the graph. Note/ I’ve only used it for one day but everything looks great so far

Good Idea, bad data management, little to no help from support
Tested the device and it seemed to be working as designed, Once installed where it needed to be I was unable to reset data and support from service@ tuya was not very helpfull, “we recommend that you contact the device seller for further troubleshooting”, that would be Amazon.I have now a device that shows 4/8 usage of 75.46(total usage from test enviroment), no usage after that untill 4/20 to today, despite having been installed at its current location since 4/11 and previously recording those days.It appears to retain only total and not daily past usage over a week old

Works well, I am using the free unsubscribed version of Tuya, which looks very similar to the software that was suggested.

Works but is finicky
First off, I bought the ‘Used, Like New’ version, and it was missing the wires to go from the module to the point of L1 L2 N connection. Second, as a service technician, I’m not real impressed that they want that L1 L2 N connection to be piggybacked off an ‘upstream protection device’ aka a pair of the panel breakers. Should a short or flaw develop on the module it will burn and melt those tiny wires and never trip the breakers. Third, even in the shade outdoors there was no sign of any LED status light in the module, red or green, though it did connect to Wi-Fi just fine. Fourth, the SmartLife app is free for the trial version, I am hoping to stay on the limited functions app rather than pay a fee for the full functionality. Fifth, I bought this for checking solar power input against loads in real time so I didn’t have to look at the service meter every time to see if I’m feeding power I’ll be charged for back into the meter (I do not have a two way meter). The app appears to have a glitch because on the main screen it shows both L1 and L2 loads as positive power while in the ‘Settings/More Data’ tab it lists L1 as negative power, as it should as that is the one my solar array feeds. So. For the price, it helps track power usage long term. I need to find a better solution for real time monitoring.

Installation and operation
Works pretty well however the arrows on the current sensors flow arrows are not marked correctly. I installed in the right direction has shown on the arrows, (I’m ann electrical engineer), but on the app it reads in reverse as if you’re selling power back to the power company. So the CT need to be reversed.Actually, there’s also doesn’t seem to be any way to reset the data to zero
