So Easy to Connect!
I am so pleased to find these smart plugs. They connected to my SmartThings hub so fast and are working great. I also prefer the shape over the previous plug I was using as it is much smaller and less bulky.

Effortless pairing
I’m got these for use with a SmartThings hub and found that they were so easy to pair. Plug them into the outlet and they will immediately be discoverable in the SmartThjngs app where they can be setup with one click and you’re done. They work exactly as advertised and are much cheaper than competitors (often half the price). I’ve used several other brands and these paired easier than any including SmartThings own outlets and they are just as responsive when manually controlled from the app or as part of an automation. The only downside I see is the indicator light is fairly bright. I use one in a bedroom and it throws a bright glow in a darkened room. I used a bit of electrical tape to cover the light and problem solved.I highly recommend these and I’m looking for something else to automate so I have an excuse to buy more!

Works with SmartThings Hub
These things are small and work as advertised with the exception of integrating them to SmartThings hub. When I was adding them to SmartThings, the first one came up as music player. Removed and re added.Make sure you only plug in one plug at a time. After that one is added, mark it so you know its name.To add these plugs,1) Put the plug in discover mode, plug into power => press button on side for 5 seconds (until you get the BLUE light to flash quickly. This step took many tries to get the button to quickly flash BLUE.2) In the SmartThing app, go to Add Device => Scan nearbyYou may get a message saying it found the device or the light on the CMAR plug will turn RED. Not quite the normal process.3) In the SmartThings app, go to DEVICES and you will see the plug(s) there. Select the plug and edit the name. I suggest you put the name on the plug (marking pen) as they all look the same.

Works with Hubitat
Connects easily and immediately to Hubitat. The driver “Generic Zigbee Outlet” works fine.

Random Power Off
Lasted for about a year and then started to malfunction. Random shut offs. No logs in the SmartThings app. I’m convinced it was hardware related. In the trash I guess. Unreliable.

Easily the best ZigBee plugs I’ve had. Can’t stop buying them.
Disclaimer: I have only ever used these with Home Assistant.I went with these after repeatedly trying to order ZigBee plugs from other vendors and weirdly only ever receiving WiFi plugs. These are, at the time of ordering them over the last 2 years and now, the cheapest option available, and I’ve had no issues pairing them or using them. They are now the only brand I really want for smart plugs. The range seems to be better than some of the more expensive ZigBee bulbs I have. My HA server is in a far corner of the house, yet it reaches my garage with 0 issue and no other device in between. Currently, I have these directly on outlets and on power strips, powering some box fans, standing lamps, and 4x LED shop lights in my garage. I have yet to find anything you can plug into it that causes electrical issues (Though there is almost assuredly a limit to how much current you can draw through this thing). The only nags I have are things I’m willing to live with, but you may not be. You cannot stack two of these on the same outlet. This is what made me consider the rectangular form factor in the first place; but I really haven’t encountered a situation where I really needed two on the same outlet.Additionally; if you use these in an area where someone will be sleeping, the blue LED can be a bit bright. I have mine sort of hidden behind a dresser where it doesn’t bother me, but you might want to tape over it.In general; really, really good for being the cheapest option out there. I have about 12 now, though I’m sure I’ll end up with more.

Flawless with SmartThings and LED Shop Lights
With SmartThings, just hit add device and search nearby. Press the button on the plug and it’s done. Don’t search for the manufacturer. Just plug-in, search, press and boom! Response is fast, but I’m not sure about the range. I have an Aeotec ZigBee range extender which corrected all connectivity issues with other devices. My network is primarily Z-wave S2 long range, but these were cheap so I don’t care much if they fail.I am using a 35w draw LED light on each of these without an issue. I can’t speak to large loads running through these. I would not pump more than 5 amps (600 watts @ 120v) through it. A printed circuit board will simply not handle that without melting. There is no way this could handle 10 amps for very long. If you stick to LED lights and smaller load items, you should not have an issue.

Cheap and easy way to start automating your home
My whole house is quickly becoming automated with these smart devices, all centered around the SmartThings hub. I started by outfitting all of my light switches with ZWave specific devices. I have a number of other devices as well such as door sensors, locks, etc. I still had a few lamps around though that weren’t on switches, so I got these smart plugs to control those. These outlets and nice and small with a flat front. Perfect for hiding behind bookshelves. It’s worth noting that these outlets use the Zigbee protocol as opposed to ZWave, but both are fully supported by SmartThings. I had no issue getting these to join my network. Simply plug it into the wall outlet, then in the SmartThings app, let it find any new devices. It came up almost instantly. If you are not a SmartThings user, supposedly you can just plug these in and have Alexa discover and control them. I’ve not had a chance to try that.Once you add these to your hub, the possibilities are endless. Currently I have these lamps come on automatically at sunset each day. You could also automate turning these on when someone arrives home at night, etc.Great little devices. Not to mention the 12 months replacement/refund warranty on defective items. Would definitely purchase again when needed.
