Beginner friendly!
I love how easy it is to figure out how to work it it’s simple steps and some expensive ring lights look intimidating to use I would say. You honestly plug it in and click the Botton and boom it’s on. However the brightness is ten times better then going with desk lamps for my YouTube set up. I hated how my desk lamps bounced off my face. This focus in on your face and doesn’t shift around making your faces look washed out. I constantly had to adjust the brightness with my desk lamps. I’m pretty upset with how flimsy it is thought I understand the price is very affordable but I feel like that’s a minor problem that could have been fixed. I really don’t love the other lightening settings I love the first one. The second one which looks like a blue light doesn’t really do much but make it look like there is a filter on my videos and same with the golden/brown light. I don’t like how it looks like a filter on my videos. The first setting gives me the all natural lightening look I’m going for. I film at night so it is wonderful. I don’t understand why when I use my microphone the ring light buzzed and picks up on my phone and it makes a weird buzzing noise throughout my YouTube videos. It’s great for beginners but I already kindve want to buy a new ring light or more lights to get the look I’m truly going for. It’s good for the mean time until I can save up money. Over all I do love this and it makes me feel like a real YouTuber now! That feelings makes me very confident.

All-in-one solution and very easy to setup
This 10” ring light is super easy to setup, it provides soft, even illumination that banishes shadows from my face. The three color temperatures (warm, cool, daylight) and 10 brightness levels let me match any room’s lighting perfectly. The phone holder is secure and adjustable. I love that the ring light itself can also tilt, so I can angle the light precisely where I need it, not just straight on. Love it.

So people using this in TikTok videos, this light helps with recording with some great lighting that are focused on the products where you record them. He host the Phone pretty secure and easy to lock on the desk. If you plan to use this to reading, I would’ve recommend get something else instead.

it’s a love/hate relationship
There are some good things and some bad things about this product. First off, it’s priced fairly decent. The light has 3 modes, is very large, and honestly puts out quite a bit of light. I use this setup for doing TT videos and lives for my crafting projects. I could easily use this with just the ring light. I like that you can adjust the light separately from the arm setup. The arm is easy to move and adjust for a large amount of different positions.However, there are two things I really dislike about this setup that honestly defeat the whole purpose of having it. First, the fact that the retractable holder for the phone barely accommodates my android phone. It simply does not have enough stretch to it, so I have to extend it fully and can only have it in one spot on my phone to keep from hitting all the volume/power buttons on the side. It would probably work better if I removed my phone from its case, but who in their right mind doesn’t keep their phones in a quality case these days? I don’t want to take my phone out of its defender case just to use this setup.Second thing, because of where I have to keep the phone in the phone holder, it means I cannot see 3/4 of my phone screen or access the screen. When doing live videos, I can’t see comments or interact with my audience because it covers up so much of the phone. It makes filming so difficult that I am almost tempted to get rid of this set up completely.As far as the product goes, it was easy enough to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. However, the phone holder part doesn’t accommodate larger phones, at least not with them in their cases, and because of how it all sits together and how you have to keep the phone inside the holder so you don’t accidentally turn off your phone, it means you can’t access your phone screen or see a huge chunk of it during filming. I’m not sure if this would hold true for all setups like this, but this one just isn’t that user friendly.

Got this for recording videos and it’s been super useful! The ring light is bright with good adjustment options, and the overhead phone mount makes it easy to film from different angles. As many of you my professional life has moved online. I work as a teacher and film/tv actor. For online meetings, this thing is great as it lights up you face well and doesn’t cast harsh shadows behind you. For taped auditions it’s very bright and lights up a medium-wide shot no problem. No fancy light kit required. It comes with a tripod, a cellphone holder, a universal mount thing; there’s a lot in the box and it’s easy to set the thing up anywhere and anyhow you want. The quality is so-so. The light itself is good and bright with three colour settings, natural, warm, and cool. It doesn’t flicker and is consistent throughout. The tripod and attachments are all cheap feeling plastic but at this price point you shouldn’t expect more. It’s good enough just for a light but I wouldn’t bang it around or anything.A side benefit I noticed is that my family has relegated me to the basement for my home office, there’s no windows or natural light there. After one morning meeting I left the light on and noticed I worked better throughout the day, it was like having a window there. Not a very scientific experiment but I’ve been leaving it running all day and out of the corner of you eye it does feel like a window and is helping me stay focused on work.
