Excellent all-in-one doorbell system – highly recommend!
This product exceeded my expectations. It is indeed wireless, there’s no need for any physical wiring between the indoor and outdoor units after unpacking. Simply install the battery in the doorbell and power on the monitor for immediate use. It has its own dedicated signal that offer stable performance in daily use. Connecting the monitor to Wi-Fi allows access to the camera via app, enabling me to check on it anytime, anywhere. I can also receive app notifications when someone rings the doorbell or stands at my door. Everything is under my control.The camera’s pixel count and screen resolution are both sufficiently clear, producing sharp images. The wireless monitor is a major plus, when I’m home, I can see visitors on the monitor instead of having to check my phone, which is incredibly convenient. Automatically recorded videos are stored on the included memory card, eliminating the need for additional monthly cloud storage fees—a truly one-time expense.This brand has been very thoughtful. As we all know, users of these smart home products will inevitably encounter some technical problems during daily use, users can find technical support directly on the desktop of the screen. Customer service is excellent, with a quick response time. They quickly helped me solve my problem.It’s a feature-packed system that works as advertised. Five stars!

Great product, would be perfect if screen did not always transmit unless needed
I was wanting a video door intercom. This works great and is awesome that it does not require wifi or some closed source app and mobile device to use it. When testing for wireless emissions, the camera only transmits when it detects motion or when the call button is pressed, the monitor is always transmitting on a pulse. If the monitor could be updated to only transmit when needing to actively connect to the camera this would be 5 stars. As I like to lower my exposure to wireless as much as possible. So what I do for a solution when worried about this, I just turn off the screen and then if someone rings my doorbell that is next to the door, I then use this as an intercom and I have the button covered with a note that says “use doorbell to ring”. However, it does take 36-40 seconds to turn on the screen and pull up video of the camera. When away this is also a good way to monitor and log detected motion when I was gone.

Great quality, loud chime, effective motion sensor, and easy to install.
I love this! It is a self-contained, high-quality system that is very easy to install. While the camera’s rechargeable battery is supposed to last a couple months before requiring a recharge via an USB charger, one has the option to hook it up to power. I had a 12V transformer lying around so I hooked it up to the power supply for my outdoor lights, which are on from 4PM to 10PM. Power is maintained at 100%. The image on the supplied monitor is crisp and clear. The doorbell is very loud, almost as loud as my hardwired doorbell. I have the motion sensor on the lowest setting, yet it detected a cat running across the pathway about six feet away.

This bit off kit has made my life a lot easier

I’ve owned a few different brands of video doorbells over the years, including the most popular flagship models like Google Nest, Amazon Blink, and Ring, so I have quite a good scope of knowledge to compare this ACEBELL package. First of all, the two most standout features are that a wireless touchscreen monitor is included, and there is no subscription required in order to receive alerts and wirelessly access your video files. Not having to commit to a monthly plan is a huge plus nowadays, regardless of brand.The connection between the camera and monitor was instant, as was the response time and connection speed to the video feed (tested at approx. 25 feet distance). The display monitor is mid-grade in terms of display quality, and the interface itself is not quite on par with iPad sensitivity, as I kind of expected in 2024 at this price range, but it’s all perfectly acceptable for the application. The camera itself has an impressive wide-angle lens and the video quality is good. 5MP / 2K resolution would’ve been better, but 1080p is fine for day-to-day usage and monitoring a porch or patio. For zooming in or capturing bigger properties, you might be left desiring more.There is a module included in the package that’s meant to be wired in line to control an electronic door-lock / smart lock. Initially, I was impressed that this “bonus” feature was thrown into the package, however after some investigating, the instruction manual leaves much to be desired in terms of explaining how this needs to be wired in, and compatibility. I tossed this part aside because it’s not really well explained, despite me having a smart lock.The kit comes complete with a “hood” bracket that the doorbell camera sits in, and presumably shields it from the elements such as rain or snow. This is great for homes that don’t have a covered porch, since the lens of the camera is less likely to be obstructed. The camera is secured into the bracket with a small screw on the side, that’s it. I wish the company included an angle bracket so that I could properly position the camera angle without any MacGyvering, otherwise 50% of my FOV would be the brick wall of my house.Surprisingly, my favorite doorbell camera remains the AOSU, and it’s about a third of the price with better video quality and no monthly fees, plus an angle bracket. Overall, the ACEBELL offers a decent kit if you absolutely need a wireless display monitor. The monitor itself doesn’t even need access to your WiFi network in order to work, and it keeps recording events even if the power is down, which is another plus (for as long as the batteries are charged). Price is a bit steep.
