For most of us we cannot hold a capybara in our hand. A computer mouse that was the size of a capybara would be too big.This company, however, has found out how to miniaturize capybaras. Turned into small nuggets of joy, the miniaturized capybaras then rest in a plastic terrarium, nestled in the palm of your hand.The symbolism of a capybara inside a mouse is not lost on the sophisticated appreciator of these animals. Capybaras fall in the rodent family, though are far from your traditional rodent. They eat grass and plants, fruit and tree bark. They do not run in our walls and nibble through our pantries.I am now on day 2 of my capybara mouse experience. I work a job that involves a lot of computer time and writing. Each time I look down down, staring back in the cranny between by thumb and index finger is a small capybara looking back at me.What is my capybara thinking? There are few ways to tell. I gently lift the plastic enclosure, fastened to the mouse by small magnets. I stroke the capybara with my index finger. It is a delicate soft creature. I repeat this whenever I feel overwhelmed by the throngs of emails coming my way or the deadlines creeping up on me. This capybara mouse has brought me much delight.The mouse itself is a perfectly functional ergonomic mouse. But that is not why you bought this item.
