Started off strong, both ended up breaking
I originally gave this a 5-star review. But upon using it for over a year I have to go down to 3 stars. This kit worked great in the beginning. I loved recording videos using this and I loved having a 2pk because it helped add more light to my videos. It was also a great price, so there’s that. What I didn’t expect was poor quality on the tripod itself, as well as the phone holder. I bought 2 of them so surely if one got messed up I could still use the second one. Imagine my disappointment when both of the phone mounts broke after using for almost a year. Not to mention the tripod having some of its clips broken so then it couldn’t go up and down anymore and just stayed in one spot. Ugh I hate that this happened, but honestly I didn’t expect it given that it had such good reviews. If we’re just reviewing the light itself, sure that’s good. But it’s rendered useless if I can’t even use it with the tripod.

Cheap garbage.
HORRIBLE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I originally rated these very highly. But after using them for the last few weeks they are pure garbage. The stand is unbalanced. It constantly tips over if it gets nudged a little. The cord from the light is so short if you use it plugged into the wall instead of a power pack on the stand holder you have no slack on the power cord to reposition especially if you have the tripod raised. The tripod is flimsy and not all of the parts actually raise up some are just for show. And worst of all the dongles they sent for the power BROKE within the first 2 uses. The outlet heats up so I have to turn them off once an hour. There are better choices at this price point.

Perfect lighting!
I am absolutely in love with the NiceVeedi LED Video Light Kit!Before I got this kit, I was always chasing natural daylight for my shoots, which meant I was constantly at the mercy of the weather and time of day. Short life span
First the Pros: The panels produce a decent amount of light, they are easy to set up and use. Budget friendly. Cord length 6 ft.Cons: one of the lamps did not even last 6 months. Tripod is easy to tip over when fully extended, so I keep the feet completely flat on the floor, reducing the height close to a feet, I can work around this as I mostly use it to illuminate my desk surface.The set up: I purchased these lamps late September 2025, They are connected to different outlets with surge protection, where I plug only my phone and other small electronics, checked outlets, no problem there. These lights are never used for longer than 2 hours at a time, I use them mostly on the lower two intensity levels with the cool white light setting. awaiting answer from the seller, I sent a message today. Will update when answer is received.

So cheap and not very bright
ADD 07/05/24: The company saw my negative review and offered me a full refund for the product. I agreed to the refund. They told me I had to email some sketchy email and ask for the refund because it was a “different department”. I told them I shouldn’t have to interact outside of Amazon messages and that it seemed like a scam. They then told me that they would no longer refund me unless I returned the item unused to them and would not refund me until they received the item back. Poor customer service. I never even asked for a refund, you offer one and then you try to operate outside of Amazon. AVOID THIS COMPANYI bought this to add on to my current photography lighting for reselling. I have a “LED floor lamp” that I bought on Amazon that is metal and amazing. I was hoping this would match quality wise but it is HORRIBLE. It is made out of metal but it’s so flimsy and cheaply made. Less than 12 hours after opening, it’s already leaning to one side and won’t stand straight. The light component feels so cheap too. It’s like they found the cheapest plastic. The light isn’t nearly as bright as my other light. I would NOT recommend this as at all for the price.

Excellent light with easy to set up (light) stand. Also comes with a simple to attach holder for phone/power bank to fire up the light. Comes with adaptor to plug into new model iPhones. Good modes of brightness and cool to warm controls. I use to use the box lights which were a pain to set up when doing self tapes, now it’s a lot more quicker and I’m very happy with the way I am lit. May well buy a second one so I’m lit from both sides. Easy to store as well as not too big and can carry with me in a small rucksack. Very happy.

The light itself works fine, but the product is incomplete. The carrying bag was not included, and some accessories are missing. I also had difficulty contacting the seller. I would like the missing items to be provided or a replacement issued.

Am using these for shooting YouTube videos and, for the price, they are fantastic.Powered via USB so have some adapters handy.They’re very light which is good in some ways, but might make you think they’re flimsy, particularly the stands.At full height, they can tip over… but, again, for the price…. really good.
